Well, I've got enough pre reqs for it, but how do I get 17 knife kills in a round????

Try, try, try. You're K/D ratio will really suck before you get it. Large servers + recon with active camo (+NS upgrade if possible).

Work your way behind the enemy lines and then push on them from the rear. They normally aren't paying attention. Also, it is better with a buddy to cover you...

well, i did it like this, find a conquest server something like berlin, 64 map, but only 16 players on it, so will have lots of ticket before over, get yourserlf as comander, and go recon with cammo, try to find the other team commander, by spoting him on the map, and keep on killing him =D, since he is most of the time lying down looking at his map (what you should be doing, by the way, but since you are working a medal you are forgiven =P), then try to hide really good, and keep on looking for snipers or guys taking flags with the commander eagle eye, easy knife kills.

By the end of the round you will have so many knife kills you wont belive your eyes, i did 25 on a round....=D, no knife/pistol server if someones asks

Yup, except I actually do better with the support kit & IDS. I got mine, surprisingly (I'm by no means Mr. Uber-Knifer. I'm too practical.) on my first real try at it. Carebear Landing, 44 slot server, only 10 or so players at the start of the round. I also, to my shame, did it as commander. This lets you see where those loners are, and the flow of bad-guys so you can put yourself in a good ambush spot. Deploy IDS when you're in the right neighborhood.

The only comments I'll make about using the commander toys to help yourself like this are: (1) At least make sure you're helping the team first, and yourself second. So, make sure you take care of supplies, etc. like you should. (2) Let your team know, and make sure their o.k. with you being a little less responsive than usual. Yeah, I'm old fashioned, I guess, but doing the combat commander thing to further your own lust for gold is a priviledge, not a right. But, it helps when you're clan-mates know what you're up to, and are willing to cut you a little slack that round. (3) If the round is close, our you're losing, your badge-hunt waits until another round- Helping your team get the win is still the highest priority, IMO.

I haven't gotten mine yet.

Try a 64 player server withe somewhere around 32 players. It will last an incredibly long time and hopefully enough to get all those knife kills. Camp G is my favorite for knifing. :)

i got mine but it was actually funny there were 2 full squads healing and supplying eachother and they were facing other way so i had 4 options.

1: place rdx behind em and get explosive gold badge
2: knife them all to get the knife gold badge
3: roadkill them for drivers license gold :P
4: use my morreti to give them headshots from close up for sniper gold badge :O

Well when people want to go knifing i would usually say take APM's so you can still keep up your k/d but with you going for the Gold i would not kill anyone with anything other than your knife so you are always ontop of how many knife kills you have, so in my opionion you should go:

Recon
Light Armour
Cammo
Sniper Decoy
All player abilities and the upgraded active cammo


Obv all that is not needed as i got my Gold Collectors badge way before NS was released but it will all help.

As some people have said you could use the support kit and use the player tracking functions like ids-1 and pulse meter, or medic and take your smoke grenades with you for cover, plus you have the function of being able to heal yourself :D

Hmm if am correct wouldn't killing them with your knife/RDX/Car or Morretti all get your kills up for sniper gold lol, so theoretically your 4 choice would still happen with your other 3 :p

favorite place to knife :D

make sure you use light armor too-you need all the sprinting you can get. its easiest to knife when they dont see you coming at them.

I got mine on camp gib with a deadlock at the toll station. The catwalks make it really easy to get behind them. (just use camo!)
