vanishing commander supply drops

you all seen it happen if you play commander a lot. you drop a supply crate and it instantly disappears like you never dropped it. you check the bottom of the screen to see the recharge meter and yes it's depleted. i do remember one instance where i had a UAV going above the area where i tried to drop the supply crate, and maybe the UAV collided and blew up the supply crate? DICE has to know about this, but why won't they fix it? it's been ignored through 4-5 patches now?

Yah... I've always wondered about this. I know problem with the UAV randomly disappearing is because it hits a building. However, I'm pretty sure the supply drop is just randomly flaky.

This happens especially when zooming in to aim the crate at a location. Can see the animation begin, and then it vanishes into thin air.

Maybe it was destroyed?

This is a bug that's been around since Battlefield 2, I remember my supply crates vanishing mysteriously sometimes when I dropped them. :)
