I was just playing Fall of Berlin earlier today and I was just enjoying a normal battle. Then with about 100 tickets to go, I see a drop-pod moving around in the air launching himself onto a building like he was in a titan launch pod where you can move. I was thinking "wtf? how did he do that?". I ask him how he was moving around in it and he just replies "lol ,,|,," (which I found the middle finger funny by the way). And he just continues on in his business sniping from the rooftop. I may be stuck 3 months in the past, not sure if this is old news. He was clearly exploiting anyways.

You swivel your mouse side to side or round and round but you have to face away from where you want to go:)

And with high mouse sensitivity you get the distance to the poddin.

i personally don't think its an exploit and i do use it, but i tink EA should limit their maneuverability to a certain range, what with all the 34772329 microdots per inch mice coming out. i've seen ridiculous case of a spawn beacon near the trains between harbor and toll on Camp G used as a shuttle to reach central camp time and again. it looks funny on the map for sure, but it ruins the game. where's the tactics and strategy if you can place beacons to reach any flag in the game?

I can get from toll station to central camp to EU Base by "Spinning" the pods, so much fun.

haha, ya, those super high dpi mice can let u fly very far... i mean, very very far...... u cant do it at low sensitivity n low dpi.

it works like when a pitcher throws a slider or a curve ball. Just not horizontal ;)

So, being able to move something that was obviously coded to not be able to be moved is not an exploit?

I have this mouse here:

It goes up to 2,000 dpi. Is that high enough? Do I just move the mouse around and round like in a circle movement, or is it side to side like the shape of a banana? I've seen people do it, but never knew how.

Its Illegal in match play,(well twl says 10m max)
Fixes would be...
They could stop them moving full stop,
Make them drop faster or decrease the distance(I think 50m maximum would be good)
Or more futuristic, make it more of a teleporter and with an effect in place make it like a teleport(like quake4 style)
Its annoying on conquest when somebody manages to pod halfway across the map, ruining your whole line of defense..

See the problem with Match play Legend is the teams only get a talking to. We've had 2 instances in 5v5 match play and it kinda sucked. Reported and nothing. Hopefully they learned there lesson.

I personally detest this tactic and move on to another server when I see it is the primary tactic of the enemy.
Sure, there are ways to counter it, but it sure does take the fun and pacing out of a good round. I don't need to win, but I do need to feel that I've played an honorable round. Hey, if you feel good about "pulling something over on someone" by using the game in "new and creative ways" I'm not going to stop you. I just won't play with you.
Pod spinning? It isn't a tool in my kit.

There is already a thread about how to do this in the tips and tricks. :)
