BTW, forget EA pulling servers for violations. Heck, there's too many that insult EA in their server messages and even load screen for them to care, anyway. It's all about $$$$$, nothing else -- why such cheat clans like EFFU are making a mess at EA's own forum.

By Selecting A Knife Server Player they are saying to us...Go Ahead play on these servers were making money but were gonna reset and ban your account if you do...Knife Servers are easy kills/Easy points and Easy rewards. For a day all ranked servers should change their name knife only. thats what this game is becoming...

i have print screens on his scores including some other players who all do the same thing and get 150 score per each round.

all top 5 players have more than 130 and man they knife in a very weird way, its like they have a knife aim bot or something

they sure can control the servers that go ranked. but we cant really blame them if the players name themselves porn of something like that cos thats up to the players, they cant delete an account jus because the player has an offensive name. at the most, he gets banned whichever server he goes to.
as to which servers he plays on... no comment.....

Doesn't the game say something along the lines of "rating may change during online play" and the only way to get stats is from online play. Not that i'm advocating the name CartoonPorn but its not as if they don't warn you.
The rating on the game here in the UK is 16+ and I think most 16+ teenagers wouldn't take the name seriously anyway. Too much censorship is a bad thing as well :)

yeah i know, players like KAIN get more points in 1 day than i get in a week. and im a brigadier general, ranked 4800-4900 overall. KAIN has average of 10.4 hours of playing per day, i have 2.7 hours, that shows you KAIN is a no-life person. he averages like 70 points per round, i average about 20-30. of course i do have school and i dont ever have the time during the school year except when i get home and on the weekends to play constantly. so, to sum all this up in 5 words:

Top players have no lifes.

It's like a bait and switch tactic, which is illegal in the USA.

Some parents take content quite seriously, and they buy a "T" rated game to remain "T" rated. Not so their kid can go online to play and get on servers advertizing "Join our server for porn" like a server was doing.

Speaking of censorship: the UK rating system is more strict than the one in the USA. It has movies still banned there for "excessive violence and content", that's freely available in the USA (especially true in the horror genre).

Quite a number of those servers which are blue are part time knife/defib/pistol only servers... I recognize from joining and reading the in-game rules. If you take that into account, he has played mostly on "illegal servers" ... Who really cares about the Supreme Commander?

I'll admit I played on a shotgun server this morning and it was a real blast (pun intended). I haven't had so much fun in weeks! Everyone running around with Clarks and Herzogs... It actually took some skill to get close enough to do damage and not take a bunch of pellets to the face. The admin kept telling us to not cap flags, but we just kept rollin' and doing it anyways. You guys got to try this; too much fun to keep on the downlow. :yay:

not one of ours, theres 2 other clans that have the same tags as ours, one in Germany and one down under. youll never see a fmj player outside of an fmj server for 2142 unless its comp or a very rare occasion. our players aren't dumb, if they were to even dare play a k&p server they would never wear their tags.

its not a legality issue, its an ethics issue. you'll find most respectable server providers like myis will instantly remove K&P servers the second they find them running on their boxs but others are more concerned with protecting their bottom line so they allow these servers in order to sell slots.

usually the best thing to do is open a support ticket to the server provider and respectable ones will shut them down instantly, the problem is most people report them to EA witch can take weeks and even months to get removed. there are however a few providers out there that are known to harbor and protect K&P servers but EA either doesn't want to or cant remove their privilege to host ea games. it all boils down to $.

there are Chinese companies that do nothing but get paid for playing a persons username in order to excel them in rank. they do it for many games and BF2 and 2142 are included.

Eh... It's not a mystery. KAIN uses a script to play commander for him while he's gone. Notice how he's #1 on the commander leaderboard by quite a bit.

However, what this does illustrate is that it's pretty much impossible to get any rank higher than Brig General playing normally. The commander scores the most points in a round generally (assuming that he's on the winning team). Thus, if a person who plays commander almost all day can't get higher than a Brig General, think of the chances for someone who just plays normal games all day...

Servers Should Have LOCKED server names picked by GSP's to prevent knife servers.

and hell if everyone uses knife on a server it should automatically send a notice to eacs saying check this server out.

Thirdly EA has gotta stop giving Ranked Service Providers 5-7 chances, when they get their licenses revoked due to all these stats rampages where players are getting 2000 points right at beginning of round.

It's both. But EA has it's hands tied with the legality of shutting down contracts with it's Ranked service providers, for violations. The companies will sue for breech of contract and a 101 other excuses.

Web hosts aren't always the most kosher folks around (spend just 1 day at webhostingtalk's forum to see what I mean), and the profit margins are very thin, that the server providers will be willing to look the other way. Heck, I remember reading one that even allowed access to server game files through FTP, too (which I thought was forbidden, and only allowed for unranked servers).

Now if only these server providers would consider game stat-padding as spam, then they'd clean up their act promptly (as that's how to kill a server company).

Your right unat...But some "server Providers" are allowing access to those files that are indeed RESTRICTED and those providers should be held accountable for the huge stats errors we had on our leaderboards in both bf2 and bf2142.

I once thought it was a ploy by by either eidos or silicon knights as they did the lagacy of KAIN series, would help in promoting anything new they make as its a referece and a large pool of people has seen it... I wouldnt be to surprised if it was multiple people or a website...

no i have practically most people here added to my buddy list and i check to see what servers they are on to see if i could play with them. But to my surprise i wasnt going to join some of those servers ;)

Honestly, does it even matter anymore who is SC or how they got it? The game is plagued with hacks, glitches and exploits. The SC position has been a joke since they first gave it to a KP player. There is no way they could ever redeem it now.

Legit players will never get the just deserts for being just that. The leader board if full of accounts that could not possibly be accomplished by one person unless that person had no life, was independently wealthy and never had to leave the house.

It's all a joke to me now. I used to rip on people for playing on KP servers, but EA does not care so why should I? I have reported people for things and never saw anything come of it. I have given screen shots and even battle recorder files to prove it and it was for naught. So in the end, what's the point?

I have been kicked for hopping on KP servers and running people down in the FAV. The only saving grace is that I got my silver transport badge by doing just that until I got banned from the server for no using KP.

Just play the game. If you are on a server that you don't like, then leave. If someone is giving you grief find somewhere else to play.

... BTW for those of you who have never been on a KP server, they are fantastic places to finish of req's for a badge or pin. You can usually run people over, waste them in a walker, RDX and generally reap havok for a few minutes before getting the boot.

I am not against leaving the game but I have just become numb enough to be able to play and not get full on pissed. I just play to play now. With that mentality it can still be enjoyable. I still get frustrated, but usually get over it pretty quick.

Imagine someone with a small payroll. takes on the giant payroll of EA.

they loose. their case. their legal fees. and most likely the contract with EA that gives them most likely a good portion of their money.
