Battlefield 40k Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the Battlefield 40k (http://www.battlefield40k.com/index.php) mod website. Here's what they had to say:

Just a few new pictures to show you on development of the mod. The Kasrkin are the Elite infantry of the Imperial Guard Cadian forces. They carry the deadly hellgun which is a vast improvement on rate of fire and damage over the standard lasgun carried by ordinary troops. They also have much better armour wearing Carapace armour. The last picture is the Heavy Bolter Turantula that was tested out recently with drone AI in BF40K-BF2142.

Development for BF40K-BF2 has been going on ever since battlefield 2 was released. It has been a long haul in development and we are currently thinking of a release date that may be within the next 2-3 months.

Due to development problems with lack of artists and coders. The development team have agreed that BF40K-BF2 Public Beta 1 will be released in three stages. Read more... (http://www.battlefield40k.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1977)
