I got that bug with my 6600 gt. I think it happens when you run out of video memory or something, and all the terrain texture disappears. And to get rid of the hud, just type renderer.drawhud 0 into the console. As for the hand... its anyones guess.

oh. no. thats a bug. gotten it.. everything on the map is invisible. sometimes the ad's is visible though. thats bugged up. i mean, that guy there, dosent even stand on the water. he is probably in a base or something with ground.

It was a texture glitch. Happend on one of my servers and he was in Teamspeak with me when it happened. I took some PB SS of it when it happened. The funny thing was that he couldn't see the other players but they could see him because he got killed a few times. It's at Front Line on a 32 man Minsk map. In some of the other pics he took you can see outlines of trees and the shadows of buildings on the ground.

He saw the muzzle flash of some guy off in the distance so he zoomed in on roughly where the head would be and shot. Best shot ever!
