Theres so many posts around with people saying how they opposed the advertising thing but I quite like them :P - Its pretty cool that theres some change every now and then.

2) I never really pay attention to the ads. Are they really bothersome to some people?

Nope, first off it was an empty server :P, secondly its because the knife is alot smaller than a rifle/pistol when taking a screenshot :P. I noticed them whilst playing the other day.

I didn't create that thread, it seems that my last post wasn't deleted but instead split from the original thread and made to use a new one by the guy that locked that last topic ;). Just tryed to delete it but that privilege isn't around on these forums.

At least the seem to blend in reasonably well. A big issue I had with them originally was them basically just being clean ads slapped all over the place, in a world where pretty much everything is wartorn and/or worn down. Fortunately it looks like they apply wear/tear effects to them so they're not quite so obtrusive.

And yes, this is the first time I've seen any ad but those "R-whatever" green things all over the place.

Well to keep you lack of bandwidth speed people happy i've uploaded jpeg images to the first post.

As I said I quite like the idea of them, they add a little realism to it in some ways, hopefuly they will rotate/change frequently so we arn't stuck with the same advert for a few months.

I've seen the Samsung 3000 one, but none of the others. That Nike one is dreadful, looks completely out of place.

I once changed my mates ads on the sly. I replaced them with posters venerating the exploits of my soldier and me getting his tags. They were on there a full week and he didn't notice. In the end I had to tell him.

The ads are fine as long as they are relevant to the year 2142. I don't want to see something about Ghost Rider on DVD... DVDs don't exist in 2142!

i blocked the ports that the ads are from soo i only see the stock add's that show the golith and army adds :)


i don't want to see bull crap things of samsung or shaving cream adds while i play bf i get enough of that **** on tv

The samsung one is very cool. Nike one is so-so, but I really rarely notice them when playing.
