i THINK this may be a pretty easy award if what im about to say is true...

the server of which i have been playing ALOT on recently (titan server) always has both titans up close an personal and the titan guns are ALWAYS in conflict (mainly the turret's not the miniguns) and are franticly being repaired so i have a good source of repair points right there

but one thing i have noted is when destorying the titan guns you can only destory them for teamwork points (maximum of 16 which equals exactly 2 titan destructor pins) however when repairing them ( or anything else for that matter) i never really see the repair point line in my hud. infact it really only show's up very few times because i have repaired alot of things from pretty much about to die/explode to full and from various other percentages to full i have noticed it giving me points but most of the time i have never seen the repair point line in my hud are those just points or will it only count as a repair point when i get the repair point line in my hud. also when repairing them will it earn you 2 points and cap off at 16 as it would if you were taking down the titan guns? cause if so i will probably have that badge tommorow. because the quota for the gold is 15 repair points

u get repair points only when someone is sitting in the guns. although some say the first 2 times, u still get it, well better be safe than sorry. u can try get ur buddy to sit in the guns while u repair.

You DO get the points for repairing an unmanned gun. You just don't get a message for it. I have verified this myself.

related question: If you get the upgraded repair gun, and sit in a turrent, will you repair the other turrents near you?

in answer to your question - no...I got engineer gold by repairing titan guns and then podding down to any APCs trying to cap silos, if they needed repairing do it if they dont jump in and pod back up to your titan ( repeat procedd). Keep an eye on commander assets aswell :salute:ps sidi power plant is the best for this badge even though I think I got mine on suez..pick a nice crowded server aswell:D

lets just clarify this badge to avoid confusion

you need 15 repair points

if you repair titan guns empty or full the points will count towards the badge:YOU CAN ONLY GET A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF POINTS BY REAPIRING EMPTY GUNS,I think this limit is 8 but Im not sure, the amount of points you can get by repairing a titan gun with someone sitting on it has no limit-ALL these points count towards the badge to say youll get points if no ones sitting in the chair but they wont count towards the badge is just wrong, Im 99% sure of this- ps I luv playing as engineer ( except during titan asualt/defence;I normally switch classes then.)i would think that the engineer gold combat badge ( 30 kills) would be more difficult than this one..

You get 8 points without anybody in the chair, but no notification. You get unlimited repair points when someone is in the chair...

Again, the easiest way to get the badge is repairing occupied titan guns. No need to repair anything else.

Who cares bout all the tecnicalities;this is the easiest gold badge by far imho; just go on sidi power plant 64 man server and get your bloody wrench out,players will be shooting those titan guns like mad and you''ll be reapiring em...easy..

That's correct. 8 pts from the "red to green" fixes, and the rest have to come from fixing guns with butts in the chairs. But, now that fixing a gun all the way gets you 2 points, the repair badges ought to be crazy easy as long as you're on a server with moving Titans.

Actually only 1 point counts as repair, the other is a generic teamwork point. But in 48p Sidi with moving titans, get a friend to sit in the guns while you repair.

red > green = max 8 repair points
every 50% fixed = 1 point

That's right- 8 repair points total for reds to greens, and I didn't mention the extra generic 8 team points since this is a thread about repair points. Then, like I said, at 1 repair point per 50% repaired *if* someone is in the chair, you get 2 points per full repair. So if the seats are occupied, you can rack up the repair points really quickly.
