well I'm trying to get some badges that all i have to do is to get kills in one round but im having trouble getting this badge

i need to kill 15 in one round with just explosives and i am having trouble getting it.

i was trying to be a c4 whore defending a titan (usually dont do it) and that didnt work out.

was wondering how you guys got yours.

APM+RDX Whoring in the Titan Vents, RDX Bunny Hopping in Conquest.

at start of round choose silo nearest enemy titan defend with APMs /RDX;when shields go down camp the vents but be warned people get wise to this quickly;when camping the vents quickly put down yor APms behind you so even if they get past your RDX youll get em anyways;you need to choose a crowded server with titan movement to get this badge using this method;mix it up a bit swap vents etc put apms in different places,you can camp one vent on top of the titan but this is more risky- secure your perimeter with apms and place 1 charge of rdx at the vent entrance ...boom..remember use 1 charge at a time....

I actually got mine being an engineer using the motion mines. Map was Verdun and I defended a flag that was surrounded by enemies. I also had a good commander that gave me supplies to keep me stocked. If you have a buddy going support, thats a good way to do it too and you both get points and goals toward awards.

*EDIT* Now that I think about it, I *think* I was engineer but am not sure if the mines count toward that. That may have been my silver engineer bagde. I know the map was Verdun and I was blowing up vehicles.

i usually play as engineer. plus i just unlocked the heavy anti tank gun and motion mind bate :) and love it.


ill probably give the titan rdx and ap mind thing a try.

after i get the silver ill probably try to get gold being that i have a total of 400+ kills with explosives

RDX/APM bunnyhop rush defending titan then grabbing dead enemy recon kits and deploying their APM (the other you placed before will remain there) and using their RDX too.

I have made more than 50 easy explosive kills IAR in a 48-64 players FF OFF titan.

RDX on FF-off conquest... people will moan and try to kick you if you are doing it well :D, but then again they are asking for that playing on ff-off ;)

You just want to practice doing it fast: chuck one on the ground, then r-click > l-click > r-click nice and fast, even though the animation doesn't look right, it still blows nicely - ppl will also start moaning "macro!!" when you get really good :D

I like to use the camo as the other slot (rather than apm), as it allows you to get into the action a lot easier.
Once you get the hang of it you will consistently be getting 20+ kills a round.

I dislike RDX spammers when they throw stuff on the ground, and explode it, just seems so *****.

Motion mines everywhere in Suez Canal, then APM/RDX whore in the titans when shields go down.

For me (I have bronze, silver, gold), I followed a lot tips posted in this forum on other threads:

1. FF Off
2. Titan server w/ 48
3. Drop APM in one vent
4. Camp other vent w/ RDX
5. Drop APM below other vent, at entrance on lower deck
6. Rinse-and-repeat, i.e., ask for supplies
7. Before shields go down, play as engineer and get some motion mine kills--they count

I also think you need to be aware of how the game is going. For example, does the other team like to attack your titan a lot? You will need a fair amount of time once the shields go down, so hopefully your team can keep capping silos to help drag out the game. If the other titan shields go down first, then the other team may choose to defend instead of attacking.

I actually got my gold in cq playing belgrade... there was about 20-25 people on the map. I ran between playground, com tower, and ruins, placing apms in doorways (E & W entrance to c tower) and using rdx to blow vehicles, and any squads that got past apms/saw me.... nothing more gratifying than having a squad of 4 follow you around the corner and boom! :laugh: had about 3 or 4 kills to go, and I decided to suicide rdx a squad... I found out then that ff was off, so I spent the rest of the round slapping rdx onto people's backs... ended up with 30some explosive kills that round...

I got my explosives badges on Gibralter. I don't feel a titan match will last long enough especially for the gold. Look for a good 32 player game on CG with no time limit and fairly balanced teams.

Play as recon and APM choke points. Example, the dock at the start if you're EU. Look for where the enemy is likely to be. If your team has all flags up to Central Camp then APM the crack in the wall or the bridge into camp. You can only put down two APMS at a time - the earlier ones will disappear when you place a resupplied one. When you get some kills ask for resupply there should be a support troop around. When you die your APMS persist until you place your new ones.

RDX back flags to pop if someone breaks through. Be the toast of your team by running in and RDXin the rampaging walker - although that is easier said than done. 3 RDX is usually enough if you stick them to the underside and legs. Booby trap a FAV and drive it to where the enemy can hijack it and then detonate - you only need 1 RDX each time. A dirty trick but if you wan't your badge then do it. :D

I did it on titan mode on Verdun with FF=ON, (no RDX-bunnying).

All I did that round is defend, I put claymores at the silos i was defending and eventually get a couple of kills, while i was waiting, i was also putting RDX on tanks, apcs, and walkers and making them go BOOM! Then once the titan shield (ours) went down, I went up to our titan and started defending with RDX/APM's and i eventually got the badge.

But the Gold Explosive Gallantry Badge... Camp Gibraltar, i laid some apms down and put RDX in the small alleys near the walls, blew them up when somebody came by... I do admit when i had about 4 kills with explosives left needed, and the tickets were like 10-12, i had to RDX bunny when i saw 6 guys near each other... that was the first time ive ever did the RDX bunny move. It was also an FF=OFF server..

It's cheesy and cheap but I love suicide missions. Sure, I don't have great stats but I play for fun so I really couldn't care less about that. I'm the idiot you'll see running into the dead center of a skirmish blowing up a loaded APC.

no not really, i just generally whore the vents when i play titan some times.

but seriously im not bragging but i can make almost 30 kills just from dedicated spamming a round on titan (depending on how stupid the enemy team is) -well used to before my computer started going nuts.

there are some sneaky tactics as to where to stash the explosives for max damage

if they see no explosives you are garenteed they will come down your vent and not the idiot who just c4ed the bottom of the other.

i had to learn the hard way, a *$^&$£ got me 5 times before i sussed it out >_< he/she was well clever though...

I got mine defending my titan, got both silver and gold in the same round.

But tbh the easiest way of getting it is on a 64 man Camp G FF=OFF server, i got bored last night and was on a server were half the people were doing it so i thought f*ck it and done it as well, got like 40+ explosive kills :D

I got my gold badge in Camp G. It took like 3-4 rounds but i got it eventually. APM's + RDX + Camp G. = Lot's of kills/deaths. :D

You need 20 kills but here's the killer - you need 300 global kills with explosives first!

That Gold badge was b!tch to get(my opinion). Everytime i was close to get it, i ran out of time. Then when i had lot's of time, then i ran out of explosives and no supply crate/support guy no where near me... :D

Getting to Silver and yet Gold is rather easy, just go APM happy on a Camp map. Just go to the EU side and barricade the more active side, and even run into their base and plant them. Also, to get up to the kills needed (I forgot how many, I got it out of the blue one day lol, but I was able to unlock my Baur after I got the medal I think so I was happy) go and put RDX where the APM's are so that when the stupid medics rush in, extra kills :yay:. Also, this is an easy way to rack up the Explosives pins to get an extra 10 points.
