I appreciate DICE

So DICE get's alot of **** for one bug or another, and people often make half-hearted side comments implying they do a ****ty job etc etc.

But I appreciate DICE, and the fact they even bother to put out these games. I mean sure they aren't perfect, but that's what patches are for.

So thank you DICE for putting in time and effort into this series.

QFT!! The Battlefield series just cannot be beaten, and if it is ever beaten than and i move over to the other game, i shall never forget dice for the fact they have made Battlefield. The bugs do make me wonder why they even bother to release games at this state though, and here is something to wander about, you need a qualification in C++ to work for them, yet they code in python, you think this might be one of the reasons why they have bugs?

Just to put it out, the people who love Battlefield games oh so much are those lucky ones with super computers who have yet to fall into some kind of bug.

Dice is not the one to blame.

Once EA schedule the game for certain date, Dice must release it in that date in a playable 'finished' state, then patch non critical bugs later.


There has been various articles of former EA employees telling their reason to leave EA. Exploiting and rushing were the main.

yes, dice has done a very good job. they acquired trauma studios (the makers of desert combat, one of the most fun games i've ever played) so they know what they're doing.

ea on the other hand... i have loved for over a decade, but their games seem to be slipping. for instance, on cosoles i play mainly basketball games, i've played the nba live franchise since is started in 1995. they had the best basketball gameplay by far and i've bought almost every new version, for roughly a decade. now, the games stink compared to the 2k series. nba live 07 is much, much worse than 2k7 (for ps3 and 360). i just don't know how ea went so backwards and lost it's vision.

the battlefield series is still awesome and has the best fps gameplay i've ever seen. i will continue to support it and push for my gaming community to not jump ship on it. with ea getting a new ceo, hopefully good things will continue to be developed.

I reserve my kudos when I see bug fixes and more maps. One map just isnt enough.

I really do not understand why a mapping competition cant/wont be held and the top 3 maps be included with a patch.

True the battlefield games are fantastic, the amount of hours I have "wasted" playing them is silly.

The only bad thing I can say about battlefield games is that generally you need an uber PC to get decent frame rates. I have had to upgrade my PC for each of the battlefield series.
