This is my new story. It is loosley based on a battle that I had at silo 2 of Sidi Power Plant.

Mikhail Putin was an ordinary farmer, until the war came of course. Everyone changed. He was drafted into Russian army at 13. By the time he was 16 Russia had joined forces with the rest of Asia forming the PAC. At age 20 he was put in charge of a six man squad.

"Sgt. Putin."
"What Pvt. Gorbachev," I replied lazily from my bunk.
"Comissar Fradkov wants to see you," Vladimir tossed back at me.
"Thank you private." I said while getting my uniform on. Seeing the comissar was a great honor.
I sprinted down the hallways to the comissar's office and saluted. "At ease, Putin."
"What have you called me for Sir?" I asked in eagerness.
"I want you to lead the assault on the second silo in Sidi." He replied without batting an eye.
"Thank you Sir," I said as calmly as I could, but he obviously saw my excitement.

We all were in an APC awaiting the order to move out. Then over the radio came the orders. "Charge!!!!!!!!!"
In a massive wave of APCs, FAVs, tanks, and infantry we quickly overwelmed the enemy at there farthest outpost. This was alomost too easy. A wave of one hundred transports came flying over head.
Then it took a turn for the worse. A squadron of forty Talons shot down three quarters of our transports. We managed to take out five of the Talons. then I realized that the Talons were falling back even though they were winning. I was trying to figure this out when the first round landed.
The first round landed on one of our tanks. Then more of the shells were hitting our battle group.
Cpl. Lenin screamed, "We're all doomed! We have to fall back!" he then jumped out of the APC via the back hatch. I nodded to Gulag, who whipped out his Krylov and put a round through Lenin's foot. Lenin fell to the ground and started to crawl towards the APC. Luckily, another APC was behind us. I saw the pain on his face as his legs were run over. He started to scream but then the wheel reached his heart, the screaming stopped and a pool of blood started to form under him. Finally, his cowardly brain was smashed to pieces.
The orbital strike had been going on that entire time but farther down the line. Then it stopped. We all started to cheer.
We finally made it to silo 2. We all utilized our neural implants to activate the silo. We set up a perimeter and waited for the Titan's shield to go down. After a boring fifteen minutes we all saw the titans shield flicker and then fade. We all raced to the APC and got in the drop pods. My sqaud fired theirs and all shot up onto the Titan. My pod cycled into position. I pressed the button to fire and... I pressed it again and still nothing. I then thought about going to the next silo and using one of theirs, but then I might be shot as a deserter.
So, I hopped out of the APC and walked to the silo. I sat there for a while and then heard some drop pods coming down, I thought that the assault must be over so I stood up and got out of the circle. Then on the HUD of my helmet I saw that someone was taking silo 2. I raised my captured Lambert and started approaching one of entrances I saw one EU soldier standing there. I flicked off the saftey and opened fire. I dragged his lifeless body to one of the closets in the circle. Suddenly, the silos all started falling to the vile EU. I was looking towards the closest silo for any EU soldiers coming here. I saw not a soldier but, a walker. I heard the chainguns warming up and I thought about what I should do. Then I realzed just as a bullet knicked my skin that I should find cover. So I dived behind the wall.
I saw a transport starting to drop troops. All five came out then the pilot turned back to base. I shot one of them with my lambert picked up his Clark 15b and shot the other four with the shotgun. Then two bullets thudded into my right leg and I realized that I had forgoten about the walker that was outside. I was face down on the concrete bleeding to death. I heard the click of a round being locked into place, a safety being flicked off, and a muzzle being placed on my head. The EU soldier pulled the trigger.......
