I was away from 2142 for about two months. After I did the re-install the game is enjoyable again. Maybe time off gave me some perspective on 2142 and I don't take things even remotely serious anymore.

:yay: for 2142. I recommend people to join the fray after being away for a while or taking a breather from the game which ever applies to you.

That's pretty much the same as me. I bought the game december/06 and played for about a month.. Then i stopped because i got bored and didn't really enjoy the game. But about a week ago i started playing again and found that i loved it this time around. Went from a Lance Corporal Gold to a sergeant major of the army in 6 days, so I'm feeling good about the game.

So to everyone who gave up on 2142, give it another chance!
