What is Vanilla? Ive heard it everywhere, but I still dont know what it is.

It's plain BF2142. No mods, no booster packs (eg, Northern Strike).

It pretty much means a game with no updates, no new things, no nothin to make it less craptacular.

So a vanilla should be submitted into the dictionary as

"Sub standard game await a service pack so it will work as advertised"

:D But no, 1.25 is still vanilla. It is used in the context of Mods and boosters/expansions to differentiate form the original game with no add-ons, but still with the latest patches.

For example in usage it might be: "Hey, are you in the mood for NS (Northern Strike)tonight, or vanilla?"
