Memory.dll Error

I keep getting a memory.dll error everytime I start to load game in the demo. It stops at 14% and quits. I updated my vid card driver and I meet the minimum requirements. Help Please. Thx. :(

during install? if it isnt the d3dx9_25.dll error then idk. if it is, then turn off your windows quality verification crap in control panel > performance maintanence > system > hardware > driver signing.

it could be alot of things actually, i would first do what ^^ said and increase your pagefile, because it could be that your running out of ram and pagefile and being forced to dump BF2 which would give you the error.

I'm also having this memory.dll problem. Sounds exactly the same as usapatriot's description, same spot...14% of the map loading and it freezes and has the error message about the memory.dll. I'm also getting some artifacts in the menu's and loading screens. At first it was crashing as the Dice logo was loading so i did a repair install and now its getting to the map loading, but erroring out before it will load the map. Anyone else having this problem or know of a workaround?

Try setting your resoloution to one the game supports. I had mine at 1280x1024 and was getting the memory.dll error, but i set my resoloution to 1024x768 @60 and it loads the map and is playable. Its worth a shot.

Actually now i dont get the sanity check problem anymore....the game just close it self while loading the map without any warning msg.

Seem the problems are evonlving here.

Ok, something happened yesterday.

I COULD PLAY !!!

For some unknow reason the game loaded the first time after the restart as usual, then when the 3 rounds finished it restarted to relaod the map (i said f*ck, and i took of my headset waiting for the game to crash) i went to the toilet and wheni came back the map was loaded.
I could play for several hours, i couldnt believe my eyes...i was o happy (specially because i pre-ordered my bf2 long time ago)

I did nothing, well to tell the truth i mess a bit with the "Windows Management Instrumentation" service. I set it to manual and reboot the PC.
Thats all, i CANNOT say if there is something to do or it is just a coincidence.

I must add, after playing for about 3 hours in a row the game crashed without a single warning.

Abit NF7-S
AMD XP 3200+
1GB Ram
Radeon 9800 Pro
120 GB SATA
XP PRO SP2

PS.
I didnt try to play today, after when i return home ill try and let you know if my problem has completely disappeared.

I solved this by changing my page file size, I set it to custom with min 2048 and max 4096.
