Yes it's B to talk to your squad, V to talk to the commander (must be squad leader to talk to commander)

When commander, 'V' will talk to all the squad leaders. When squad leader, 'V' will talk to the commander, AS WELL as all the other squad leaders. When grunt, 'V' does nothing. For Commander, or someone without a squad, 'b' does nothing. For someone in a squad, it let's you talk to all the other people in your squad.

Also may have something to do with the key mapping system.

Trying to remap then assign new values to some key does not always work.
If you have remapped the VOIP keys, this may be the difficulty.

firstly check that your mike is working whilst not in the game and you can hear your mikes pickup. I had a little disk when I bought my headset. I turned up the mike gain. ;)

Then get into the game, when you join a sqaud press your B key and the green speaker turns red, your broardcasting. :|:

Well thats how it works for me.

I have experienced that also, even with mic icon saying voip is enabled it wont work...usually just leave that server and try another or reboot, seems to do the trick.

I also mave mic problem. It works in game setup area and I test and adjust it just fine. Yet when in VOIP game in a squad, no one hears me. Someone says that my green indicator will turn red when broadcasting?? I guess that's the first thing to check. I have not been noticing it turn red, so maybe the key command is not getting through for some reason. I have tried both "B" and "V" to no avail.

If anyone comes up with solution, please post here.

Thanks

Just so everyone knows, red means your overpowering your mic. Those people you hear that usually fill your ear with crackling static in their voice are usually set up that way. If its just a little bit in teh red then its not too bad, but its best to stay somehwhere in the green for regular use.

If you want to know if your mic is working do a test in the audio section.

I'm having the latter of the meantioned problems of no sound from the mic. I'm trying a completely different mic and it won't work. Also I've already done a mic test outside of the program and its working fine.

I guess the only other option is a restart. Wish me luck.

It's a good feature but change the keys from default if you can. I think it's quite a stretch from the WASD keys all the way to B and V.
