Best place to rent servers from?

I heard of a few, but is there actually a service that's as good as EA's? In terms of server quality, lag, bandwidth, etc... :confused:

I'm thinking about switching so any info would be very helpful. :p

We use Gaming freaks (www.gaming-freaks.net), never had any problems, and they're always on msn if we need any help.

If you want to try playing in their servers, search for EA-FN. Also, if it's a ranked server u want, they give u free access to unranked servers for matches.

So far the best i have played on are probably the gamespot servers, for some reason the game deamons always crash to desktop after 1 round.

Gamedaemons (http://www.gamedaemons.com) has hands down one of the best networks, but you pay for it. Their support also wasn't the best (keep in mind this was a year or so ago so they could have very well up'd their game since then). While they aren't my personal choice I would definitely consider them as they have always supported the BF Community (they actually used to host bfcentral.com before ECGN become involved). Frankly, I don't think people should be able to mention other game hosts (not only "no advertising") on these forums simply due to the sites affiliation with GameDaemons. I'm sure they help the site a great deal.

ECGN (http://www.ecgn.com) has great servers at a decent price. They have a staff that is very active in the community which means they are informed.

If your looking for the best bang for your buck. You should look into hosting your own. The best deals are from ServerMatrix (http://www.servermatrix.com). If you don't feel comfortable hosting your own they also have another group called Insomnia365 (http://www.insomnia365.com) which has a game control panel that you can use (insomnia will/does also offer ranked servers).

Well, that would depend on whether you want ranked or unranked.

However, I wouldn't get a server right now if I were you. I have a ranked server and it's difficult to tell what problems are the fault of my host company...and what is EA's fault. Wait it out and when things get better...start looking then.
