View Full Version : Real Critical Errors

First one: The "update server list" button. It is still un-responsive and lead to a bug of the "refresh" and "apply filter" buttons.

Second: After I patched to v1.02, this error comes everytime after I loaded my map and verified the client data. (IE. I am going to click the "join game" button)

It forced me reture to the server list and display the following message

"This server only allow unmodified content. Please revert your Battlefield 2 to official original version"

My copy of the game is a Dual language version (Chinese and English in the same copy.)
I just need to select the game language when I install it. I selected English.
BTW, it is a PC-DVD version, too.

Anything I can do with this error? (I am currently stick back to the v1.00 version in order to play.)

Some who had this problem were also people who modified the startup files so that the logos/movies wouldn't be displayed and it caused this problem.

IMHO, deinstalling and reinstalling is worth it with these type of problems. PunkBuster is kicking you and it could be for a host of reasons.

I have done nearly 10 times of reinstalling already.
But it won't help.
I sure I didn't do any mod because I don't know whether the mods are reliable. (Never download them, too)
My game is surely unmodded....but the error just heads up after I patched it to v1.02..

same problem here mate, how about asking those useful folk at EA their fnatastic support team is so helpful - group of ****ing *******s
