Hello,

This is a Trailer(Very Short Trailer),I have to admit, to our upcoming BF2 film "Desperate Measures." Was made from parts of the unfinished movie, to hopefully catch your eye. We need some help with this one. Thing is, Unfortunally, the number of people that are working on this film will not cut it (5). We will at least need about (25) more people.

Things to note about the trailer:

Intro is actually part of a 1 minute intro, but was cut so it would not ruin the suprise in the full film.

The music we used was a song in the movie Black Hawk Down Movie. (Hopefully, we can find someone that is skilled in making music)

Needed: Voice Actors, Actors in the film, Stunt People

Thanks.

Enjoy:

(Let me know what you guys think of the Trailer)

Not too bad. There were a few spelling mistakes, and the trailer itself seemed long and tedious. The beginning pictures-on-desk thing is original, and looks great.

If the full thing is faster paced, I can't wait to see it, =)

Thanks Guys for the feedback. By the Way, could you tell me what the spelling mistakes were, so I can fix them?

Only one I can remember off the type of my mind is that the word 'there' in 'fight for there lives' should be 'their', as it is not referring to a location, but rather stating that the lives belong to them.

There = Reference to a location.
Their = Posessive to them.
They're = They are.

Hey, my dog is named Farley. That was a cool video, it sounded like the music from blackhawk down, I think that kind of music goes really good with war movies.

The papers on the desk is a really cool idea, did you do that with Photoshop? The opening titles were a bit redundant -- "This trailer shows the early development of this film" followed by, "Trailer of Desperate Measures." It would probably be best to just pick one instead of leaving the viewer like "Yeah, I got that part."

I think it was pretty well done, but If you were to change something, I would suggest the part where the mobile AA is launching the missiles at the Blackhawk. It's pretty obvious you used the speed controls on BFRecorder, which makes any missile that tracks kind of jerky in it's motions. It'd probably be better if you just used whatever software you used to cut the trailer and slow the playback speed so it's a fluid and not as jerky.

Was the voice of the reporter artificial? Kind of sounded like one of those text reading programs, but a little bit more realistic than most.

And unless you did the music yourself, you really ought to give credit where credit is due. Being a professional film maker in real life, I can tell you that using a piece of music that you didn't make yourself without obtaining a license is illegal. However, since licensing music is expensive -- I've paid $260 to use two songs in a commercial and it's about $80 per song for short films -- it's not really worth it for most Internet movies. Most publishers look past the legalities when their music is used in low-budget, non-profit recreational films, but it would still be a very good idea to cite the music you used.

The womans voice is annoying, replace with James Lipton or Sponge Bob.
