Battlefield 2 Case Mod

<a href="http://ccc-butterkneter.de/">Butterkneter</a>, probably best known for his infamous Half Life 2 Case mod, Blackmesa Experimental Lambda Core (http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=66917&highlight=butterkneter), built two new cases with the BF2 theme. Introducing the United States Army Radio Command Modules 415 and 389. The 415 is a fully functioning PC, while it's smaller brother, the 389 is an empty case.

Awesome cases. I wonder if he auctions them? I guess they have alot of sentimental value, so probably not. He could make alot of money though. ;)

that isn't an M4, it's a XM177, one of the first carbine rifles of the M16 (Before the M733 Commando).. and if that is Airsoft, I am only hoping its not Tokyo Marui cuz it looks pretty junky

thats pretty cool. i have scrapped some metal and other stuff which i eventually plan to mod my case with. wont do much with the internals but ill prolly see if i can get a steel case and spot weld it.

also i take it most of it is just a spray paint job, i take it that you took apart the cyborg, mose and keybaord to do all the painting and then did u just paint it by had or did u get a spray can on there with some card (for got its name) and then let it dry till u do the next colour. Also how u get a M4? i take its a fake as it looks pretty small, is it like a toy or did u make it yourselth.

and i do like the case design, never seen a case designed arround a radio before :) looks very sweet with all the tiny details :)

He is the king of modded cases! Valve ended up either buying his HL2 case or paying for a replica of the one he made. He definitely doesn't miss a beat on detail and for that alone gives him an edge over the rest of the field.

I think its funny how folks whine if its ARMY or USMC, the fact that he picked the United States isn't good enough!!! (Frankly why not! ;) ) I bet your the types that would argue about a Ford Ranger verses a Mazda pickup. :laugh:
