The Rise of Kobol mod website has been updated recently with a whole bunch of new vehicle renders. Check them out below:
We have been hard at work behind the scenes at RoK and wanted to take a moment to share with you the community some cool things we have and are working on for the Mod. All these models are works in progress and all low detail renders prior to being normal mapped. Now on to the eye candy!

First we wanted to show some off one of our own creations based on the Landram. This vehicle will server as the Kobol Federations mobile artillery. We call it the Xantos RLS-270.

where do you get your ideas for vehicles? From what I've seen of the new show they only show Fighters and Capital Ships but no infantry type stuff. Just curious how much is artistic license.

Really looking forward to this one, though I'm hoping they won't limit it to land based battles, as the most impressive Galactica battles are the space battles between the vipers and raiders, with bullets flying everywhere and crazy flak. I hope that they stay true to the maneuvering functionality of the viper, rather than just turning it into a regular plane - the ability to flip end to end while maintaining its velocity is what makes it so damn cool.
