The Red Crucible mod website has been updated today with a ton of new renders, along with news of the Red Crucible Demo. Check out the renders below:
We here at RCM have been working very diligently on our up coming Red Crucible Demo.
This demo will be featuring the Soviet and American Armies fighting for control of the Fulda Gap. In this demo you will have a host of deadly weapons and vehicles at you disposal. And speaking of weapons and vehicles, today we have some brand spanking
new renders to show you! First we have the AK-74 with the GP-30 40MM Grenade Launcher. Next we have the M1025 weapons carrier and the M1038 cargo hummers. The last render is a small train station. This small train station was designed after a building in famous WW2 battle at the Remagen bridge. Thats all we have for today, stay tuned for new updates coming soon!

Looking very good. I like this mod too

p.s.: NASA spent millions inventing a pen that would work in space.

The Russians used a pencil.......LOL, that made me laugh!!

Hey guys

As you can see, we are building a lot of the equipment that is already in the original BF2 game. We don't think people will be as excited to see the same old BF2 content rehashed in our mod. As we said before, Red Crucible is a full conversion and will not use any equipment from BF2, if we can help it. Our goal is; when you play Red Crucible, you will feel like you are playing a completely fresh/new game (new maps, equipment, animation and new game play). Of course, this means much more work for us, but we feel that this is a very good thing for the modding and BF2 gaming community.

This looks pretty good. Can't wait to play it. I use to live in Fulda back in 80-84, my dad was part of the 11th Cav, Blackhorse regiment. This fake scenario was a real everyday worry for everyone living on base, that the Russians might might one day just come thrue.
Keep up the good work !
