you will probably find that most of his gold medals are from being commander.

one question that boggles me... [using assault class as example] to get the assault's veteran badge it states to get 20 kills in 1 round as assault class. Now my question is does it have to be using only what is available to you as that class. Say for example I had like 8 kills in a vehicle/air-combat situation, and the rest of the 12 kills I had with my rifle/pistol/nade/knife. Would I qualify for the award? Or do I need all 20 kills within rifle/pistol/nade/knife.

No its the same way as beginner. you can get all 20 kills with artillery, but the time limit is a bit more difficult

:mad: exactly....I couldnt possibly fathom why E.A. would make the medals so hard to achieve...i mean you guys lets think about this logically...by the time the average player has earned one medal..it will be far past BF3's release date...somehow this information just doesnt settle right with me...if noone has any of the medals yet then how do we have any clue that the medal info is correct...im not ridiculing anyone who has made that site...i actually appreciate it very much...but a source would be nice....thanks

yeah ive been playing every single class consistently since the game came out and i only have from 2-24 hrs of playing time. most people will get the veterans and experts only depending on what kit they use of course but if i keep playing at my rate itll take me till the end of the year just to get one veteran.

like i said, it will take months, not days or weeks but months. they did this to make the game last longer. and the expansion will make the game last even longer if its good. and if there is a BF3 which i doubt, do you think EA would make a futuristic space game?

Weird.. I got 4 medals in just 2 days! The Bronze, Silver and Gold Star together with the Combat Action Medal! I am still only a Corporal though... I should be able to get a Sergeant rank in about 2 more days I hope...:rolleyes:

Received the Good Conduct Medal last night. I got the Veteran Engineer Combat badge at like 20 kills and on the same map when I hit 30 or something kills...the GCM popped up.
