In no real order but advice for New Players. Hope it helps someone (NPHH) ;)
1. Play Your Role tend to your Squad, and Team.
2. Your weapon is for Defense not offense, use it to defend yourself or stop an enemy, dont go all out like rambo 24/7.
3. Use the "N" key to zoom your mini-map in or out, so you can focuss on "Hot" area of people injured or wounded.
4. Follow Orders
5. Man vehicles and rescue others/assist with health, Make frequent stops at "hot" zones.
6. Be Brave. Sometimes you will have to run into the middle of a fire fight to bring people back up but its the difference between the tide of some battles.
7. Forget about stats while you play, focuss on the battle and your team. The 5 Secs you gander at your stats is crucial to L33T_$/\/ip3R4 Living or dying
8. Single shot for a distance, semi/auto for close combat
9. Try going Prone when reviving it helps you hit the wounded teammate, as well as makes you look "dead", and harder to hit.
10. Randomly throw med-kits at bottle necks, or fence openings etc.
11. Practice Practice Moving around and Diving for cover. Dont rush into Combat head first with your squad hang back incase they go down.
12. Use Grenades to Distract vehicles so you can Revive Teamates (Good Trick) 13. Have fun, practice, enjoy. Do a good job, and stay focussed.
***ADD INS***
*Pick Up downed medic kits if they die using "G" to pick up others kits
*NPHH (Newbie Post Hope it Helps)
*If not in a "Hot" Combat zone, drop med kits in secluded areas.
(Mobile med camps)
*Make sure to scan some areas before reviving fallen players, watch out for hidden vehicles and snipers, remember they have 15 seconds.
*Practice with Each Medics Weapons, the Medic Unlock can prove to be a wonderful weapon at times and is awesome on certain maps. However the USMC M16 is still by far in my opinion the best weapon you could use as a medic.
*If you are a Squadleader Do not try and be Rambo, stay back if you cant revive someone they can respawn on you and try again.
Hope it Helps.
-Please Stay on Medic Topic- :D

i actually seem to get good k/d ratios while being a medic even when i run across a road guarded by a tank to heal a teammate...going offensive isnt that bad

I would try to hide them in bushes or somewhere the enemy wouldnt notice them if possible, your team will still notice its avatar

Overall pretty good tips, though most go without saying. I'm surprised you didn't mention the medic unlock, in comparison to the medic guns.
Also, make sure that before you go to revive someone, the thread isn't still immenent and undistracted. The last thing you want is to provide them with ANOHTER two kills. When someone dies, glance at the kills list in the top left and note the killers name, then wait for someone to kill them. It becomes second nature for a good medic in almost no time, and you'll do it without thinking.
Also, for those who play WITH medics. Without medics, your team will be constantly losing tickets. Medics are the ones who keep you alive, and your ticket count high. If a medic dies, don't just look at him and go 'oh, too bad'. Pick up his kit and REVIVE him, then take his place as medic for a bit. I've seen a Support + Medic combo who came #1 and #2 with scores higher than anyone else, both with 0 deaths, and they switched kits constantly. If the support died, the medic revived, if the medic died, support grabbed his kit, revived himm and they switched places.

Remember that if one of your team mates is down, that means that there is most likely an enemy in the area. If at all possible, look around a bit before diving on your team mate with shock paddles in hand (remember they have 15 seconds), b/c it may well save your life, and give you an opportunity for a kill.
Also, try not to revive people infront of enemy vehicles, as it will only end up in your death, a second death of your teammate, and you getting flamed for it.

Also for those that are lone wolf junkies, it doesn't hurt to create a squad with Medic as the name. Even if you want to play alone, lock the squad. At least the commander can alert you of the "hot" zone.

My guide...
1. Play the role. Be aggressive in reviving team mates.
2. Revive only when clear.
3. Check radar screen to see situation.
4. Only waste your time on peeps that are nearby and on the same level...roofs are BAD. :thatsbad:
5. Throw med packs around. Place them against walls and in corners where team mates will usually hide when hit hard.
6. Stay with your squad (if possible). Try to respawn on SL.
7. Go prone when reviving.
8. Use vehicles to get to "hot spots" quickly. Think of it as an ambulance. :D
9. Use sprint wisely. Its not just about getting to the fallen soldier...its also about running away from the gunfire that you WILL DRAW.
10. Remember...a DEAD MEDIC is a USELESS MEDIC. Keep yourself alive and revive wisely.

Don't forget that if you are in really close range, those shock paddles instantly kill... :P

Where should the defibrillators be used on a person? I've been playing more as a medic lately but sometimes instead of one try it takes two or three to the chest.

If its direct and you are close enough they should go down right away.

yes for heavy armor but 2 shots from a grenade launcher to the back of an apc will blow its *** up..
nice tips, i find myself using them all the time in battle :)

i always found the ak101 better than the m16... but then again i am a very aggressive medic. i usually sprint to a victim, prone, revive, and sprint away... usually with only getting hit about once.

The M16 if used correctly can be a 1-2 of the 3 burst to kill thats two good controlled clicks of the mouse. (Headshot, and Leg Shots)

Although they HAVE to be damaged already before you start, the GL does a good part of damage.
And using your entire surplus of GL ammo on an APC with nice hits WILL take it out.

yeah thats alot better than putting them in the open

- If you are going for an important revive in the open amongst the crossfire, run out holding a medkit, switch to defibrilator, do the revive, switch back to medkit and drop one, then sprint back to cover (keep holding medkit).
This way you will keep your health up if you get hit on the way in or out, and give the guy you just revived a medkit while he gets re-orientated. This one must really annoy the snipers, they keep hitting, but don't get a kill...
- If you are hiding behind a building, crate etc, say defending a point and enemy infantry come in to take the flag, drop a medkit behind your cover, run out with your gun blazing (or creep out and snipe if they haven't seen you). Once your health is half way down or you empty your clip, run back (reloading) to your cover and medkit, and then repeat the process. Enemies with assault guns might have a better weapon and heavy armour, but you can always chip away at them slowly...
- Use your medkit as a mini parachute. For long drops, of course use your parachute, but for medium heights, drop a medkit on the ground where you will land, keep the medkit equipped, go prone and slide/land onto the medkit you put on the ground. Good for getting down steep hills.
The most amusing way I have used this in combat is when someone is chasing you, you climb up a ladder onto a building, medic-jump off behind them and shoot them in the arse as they are climbing up the ladder after you.
- Drop a medkit beside anyone who looks like they are hanging around a flag or vantage point in defence. eg. drop medkit on the sniper on top of the building. Chances are they will need it sooner or later. (This really comes under rule number 1... do your job!)

LoL. That is a good one. Not sure how often this will come up, though (I would probably just shoot you rather than climbing up behind you).

I just got a couple of things to say,
1: If a teammate has been sniped, and you know there is a fairly good sniper working in the area, do you still go for the revive, and inevitably medics stand still for a bit, esp if it takes 2 or 3 goes to rev (headshot anyone??)? I'm curious for opinions on this, because with a good sniper with a good field of view it can almost fall into the same category as revving infront of a tank, cant it?
2: As for 2, i completely forgot what i was about to say, i'll try and remember it.
I remember now. I apologise to anybody that i dont instantly thank for revving me. I WILL thank you for putting your neck on the line for me, but first, id prefer to get the hell out of dodge! So when i go sprinting off, please do the same!!!!! i will thank you.
