OK, so one of my goals was to get this badge, in particular because I think its hilarious when I sneak up on someone and shank em'. So last night, with about 60 knife kills on my stats, the map changes the Sharqai Penninsula and I start doing everything humanly possible to get to 70. Missed it the 1st round, and on the second round, get this, I get about 10 knife kills and then I get TWO messages:
AWARDED BASIC KNIFE COMBAT BADGE
AWARDED VETERAN KNIFE COMBAT BADGE
Yup, got em' both on the same map, LOL. Ended up with 76 knife kills at the end of the match, plus both badges. So not only is it moderately difficult to get the Vet badge, you can actually get them both at once.
