Any Special ops tips?

I was wondering if anyone has an special ops tips/tricks?
Here are a few of mine...

1) what i do is go sneak into the enemy's base and c4 there helicopter, and wait till it fills up, then let it take off, count to 10, and BOOM!!! :rock:
The reason i count to 10 is, they will notice that someone is by there base :thatsbad: , and by counting to 10, i throws them off.

2) plant 3 c4's on a busy road and wait, in a bush about 20 yards away. And also what i do, BEFORE you even set up those C4's is call for the commander to drop supplies, next to ur hiding spot, so you can do it over and over. I got about 30 kills this way. :box:

I find the M4 that the Spec. Ops character plays to be just as effective as a sniper rifle. I like to hide a few hundred yards behind an enemy sniper and start sniping him. He usually gets a bit nervous and looks around. That's his worst mistake because then he's a bigger target for me to hit. If I'm close enough, I like to just take my pistol and strafe left or right to kill him. He has to shoot very carefully in order to take me out but I've taken out many snipers and sniped many people like this.

Also, I like to attach a few C4 to an APC that I steal from the other team, drive it as quickly as I can into an enemy base where a lot of them are going to spawn, and then jump out and blow the C4 just as a few enemies run to shoot at it.

Also, have a friend of yours let you attach a C4 to your back, make you run out, get killed, and blow the C4 as soon as the enemy heads your direction. This works great in the Strike at Karkand map.

Unranked: Offensive: Taliban Style:fill a car with C4 and drive right into enemy tanks:D
Defensive: yust fill the flag area with C4 and wait untill the flag goes white then u detonate...:D i got 9kills with 5C4,s (1flag) like 2days ago:D (THIS WORKS RANKED TOO)

1- Against troops: Try to hide and kill them while you are lying on the ground (aiming to the head of course).
2- Against tanks: If i see them i usually try to sneak and plant two C4 at their rear.
3- Against tanks: Plant 2, 3 or even 4 C4 charges on the edges of a road and wait for tanks to come (pretty useful while defending a flag).

Well yesterday I was on a server and 3 guys kept coming in on boats to our carrier, stealing the blackhawk and just sit there and rape everyone. Well after they finally died (after 10 minutes :rolleyes: ) I planted some C4 on the blackhawk and hide in the tower thing. Those 3 guys come back and start raping everyone. Boom, 3 kills :D

I do this on the Dam map. Wait on top of the building where the CP is on the top. When a tank (or apc or humvee) drives up (which almost always happens) I wait until they start running up the stairs to the flag, then chute onto their rig, plant a couple c4's, hide and wait until they come back down. Then BOOM and run back up and get the points for recapturing your flag! :D

Spec Ops Rule, esp on the Strike at Karkand map
As MEC, at the start of the map sprint to the trees beside the burned out apc, near the US spawn point. From there you can snipe people with your rifle, toss grenades at the choke point at the hole in the fence, and most importantly, take out the Tanks and APCs that come by. Also helps if you get a support guy or a supply drop for more C4.

Tip for putting C4 on APCs, go prone, and go underneath the APC (does not work on LAVs) and then when it drives off push the red button. Most times its harder/useless to go under the APC then to just put C4 on it and run, but in some situations (like if the driver gets cocky and wants to run you over, or he once spotted you but then gives up, not knowing your underneath him, etc.) It is very usefull to know this. Although i'm sure most people here know this already.

Totaly agree, the sniper class is USELESS, the only good there for is to pry the claymore from their dead corpse after you've killed them to quikly set up one before taking back your usefull class.

My best tip is for Spec Ops to die. I used to be a fan, but for reasons of finding teamplay much more enjoyable, I hate them now. I love sniping the clever buggers in the head who throw down C4 and then "hide" in the middle of my scope. Take that, mr special agent man.

i play it Iraqi style... say a few tanks and stuff are guarding a flag, load a jeep up with c4 and turn a team m8 into a marter... :D

oh, let him jump out just before so you can get him revived...

and dont get shot or runover by tanks when planting c4...

and snipe with your M4, the gun is the best in the game...

My friends and I have found a use for the spec ops class, When starting out we either find a buggy or a blackhawk, then we cruise low to the ground or just drive and insert next to the enemy base then all but one get out and run over to the artillery and all plant C4, while the pilot or driver covers everyone with the 50cal or the mini gun. After we get back we take off and as we leave we destroy the ARTI. this in effect at least for a moment takes out the barrage of art. for our team. We are starting to do it to the radar site as well, taking the comander out of play.

Well that is my tip and I am sure I am not the only one doing this but it does work.

Good thinking, but this is not new. It is simply the easiest way to get rid of commander assets. You sound like you have been artie-raped enough already, as I have. It is easy enough to avoid, but it does get old. I love making the occasional C4 run to the enemy commanders UVA and artillery. You can even get an easy kill if the unprotected commander goes engie, and is pre-occupied with repairing his equipment.

The C4-jeep is always fun if your just messing around- It's usually not bad for stats either because you can usually take out atleast 2 or more with 1 suicide bomb.

On a more serious, helpful note, if you're going to plant C4 on things, dont stand still when doing it, keep moving!!!!!!!!! You never know who is watching with your head in the middle of a set of crosshairs.

I mainly use spec.ops. as Anti-tank. That's about it. Other than that I stay far away from the enemy and use the accuracy of the weapon (I have the unlock) to take them out (single shot mode).

well for me personally im no good at point blank shooting or up in your face close combat style shooting. too many people jumping and diving and rolling. so i tend to take up more of a defensive position wich is rarely done. i like to c4 the base or places i know where they hide and wait. usually only get to c4 once most times the commander wont drop me supplys.single shot and chill out and snipe away.

i would plant c4 around the flag and run somewhere else and when u see that the falg has been neutralized then set it off and u get points for defending and killing them

Do the c4 buggy trick. What you do is:

1. Place c4 on each of the buggy's wheels (or any other transport)

2. when u are driving, hold down the trigger so you are honking

3. When you spot a tank or APC drive right next to it, press E, and since you were holding down the trigger it will explode when you jump out and the tank or APC is gone.:D

Carbomb a Blackhawk.
Very fun, I've done it a few times.

1. Pile C4 onto buggy. Get into buggy.
2. Spot Blackhawk and follow.
3. When Blackawk is landing, drive really fast, go off jump, and smash right into it.
4. I got 6 kills from doing this, very fun.

a friend told me about this but planting c4 on a jet and flying it and bailing out and at the last moment b4 the plane hitting the ground blow it up for a bigger explosion..but it hasnt worked for me...too hard to aim a falling plane

dont leave you c4 hanging about all over the shop...

in rooms stick it to the ceiling....
on roads.. pop it in the shadows or on the side of a roadside tree..
if poss pop it in the shallow water of a crossing makes it very hard too see
pop it under the bridge it blows it just as well and the nme cant see it either

make it hard to see or people just drive round it...

I like to find choke points, especially on city maps, and put c4 on the walls around the choke point. Most people tend to watch the ground and ignore the walls. I also use bushes and grass along side the road to hide the C4. Wait for an enemy tank, APC or buggy to come by and boom. Buggies are the best because they tend to really fly a long ways.

If you want to really have fun bombing, be creative with the placement. Distance is EVERYTHING. If you can get bodies to fly over walls, then your a true c4 bomber :)

Similar to the commander's supply crate of doom, if you see a supply crate, put one pack of C4 on one side (so that they might not see it depending which side they come from). Find a bush, take a **** and wait for them to come for their health/ammo. Works great when vehicles want to repair too (although another block or two of C4 helps).

I would like to know how in sweet jesus you attach a C4 charge to a person please... I've tried it a couple times when screwing around with teammates before matches, but from what I know you can't do it.

any other tips?The only weakness to these tricks is if a commander sees you, then sets the UAV over you mate.

On Kubra dam, the second spawn point (the only grey one), I often throw a c4 down the ladder on the opposite side, just far enough that when people try to cap the flag while hanging on the ladder they get an unexpected KABOOM!!

just camping flags can be cheap but efective sabitoge the enemies vehicles and set them off when they get in or something lol be creative its fun
