Sound Editor

I am using NeroWaveEditor, and it is not getting the job done. I am working on movies that need voiceovers so I was wondering if there is anything free-$500 that i could get, it needs some voice editing, and basic effects too. Please Help!

Adobe Audition
Sony (I think) Soundforge 8

Soundforge is better if you wanted to know, as of pricing, either pay for it if you plan to sell whatever you are going to produce......

or

Do something which I do not condone nor does any member or operator of this website/forum... and download it off Kazaa or bittorrent sites ;)

Sony soundforge if you want to pay but a fantastic free program is audacity.

hey thanx guys, I work for the big M so i got a lotta money lying around :)
Thanks ill check them both out and read some reviews.

Probably go with adobe becaue i already use thier products for well... everythng media related
