I just did this video to get familar with battlerecorder and such. Everything went ok except after rendering the video with premiere pro. Some of the audio crackles, which it didn't do it when i previewed it before i rendered it. IF anyone knows why, please tell me.

Never saw it, lol. You know when his head falls down and then it has that ghost image of his head that falls too that looks really cool? Well that just did it by iteself, i didn't even touch that, but it looks sweet, lol.

I'm gonna be honest, that video is terrible. It's so slow I was about to fall asleep.

You know, I had the same problem with Divx and it just went away one day, dont know why. However, while it did this, I just used Xvid and it seems to be the same quality with same or smaller file sizes....it also brightens things up if you have a dark video.

O I forgot, when you go to file>export>video and it ask where to save the video, click settings, go to audio and select uncompressed, it doesnt make the file much bigger and might help with the crackling....and I like the video, maybe speed up the action a little(explosions help make things feel faster), but otherwise there was decent camera work and decent quality which is important to a good video.

The only think i really liked about my video is the ending when the guy is reloading, but then again the video was just to get familar with the process of making videos for the future. Thanks for the comments. It's weird because i used fraps and when i play the .avi created by fraps there is no crackling, but only after i ran the video's through premiere pro and rendered it did it come up.

EDIT: I think i just accidently messed up some audio setting when i edited the videos because i just threw a couple back in and slowed them down and it didn't do it.

the problem with your audio is just the levels. its too loud. In premiere, just bring the audio level for that channel down to about -6 and equalize all audio to peak at -6 in your audio mixer. that will solve your crackling problem. Also, when you export choose either uncompressed or Microsoft ADPCM codec under the audio compressor section. If you need any more help at all with premiere, pm me.

Also, playback your whole movie in premiere with the Audio Mixer open, and watch the levels go up and down. If you eve see the dot above the master level turn red, that means your audio will crackle/peak.

Thank you! The audio mixer is awesome, i didn't know about it, lol. I bumped it down to -6 and it worked great. Thanks again.

Lol, i know. Well, mis-typed. It's because i was just trying to see the process of making a video, not spent time on specifics.
