I'm having a problem where my mouse is not tracking smoothly. For example, when I zoom in with a sniper rifle, and aim at someone's head, my crosshairs act as though it snaps to a grid. So if the head is in between the gridlines on this grid, I can't hit it directly, my mouse jumps side to side. This ONLY happens in game. Menus are perfectly smooth, Windows is perfectly smooth, etc.

I have a Logitech MX1000 Laser mouse. The latest NVIDIA drivers for both my card & mobo. I've tried switch sound from hardware to software. I have the latest mouse drivers.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks!

Its the way the aiming system works according to some members of this forum. I'm not sure on that because I haven't taken a look at the coding (it hurts my brain).

I really, really don't think the color of your mouse pad has anything to do with anything.

Ok well how about this mouse problem, after installing 1.02 everything seemed fine but after a few days my mouse stopped working in game. Menus and games browser, mouse works fine; once i enter a game it becomes unresponsive. w.t.f.?

An optical mouse does not see colors. The texture or glossy coating of your mouse pad or desktop could effect the tracking of an optical mouse tho.

Does that part of the desk have a different texture on it, like worn out or something? The texture could be causing the light to diffract thus making your optical mouse lose track.
