How many of you got it the patch work/To patch or Not?

I just reformated my comp and im afraid to install the patch becouse my comp did just crash after the install of the patch... And hey what is the command to put in the Run box to see your comp, or can i found out all my comp knowage somwhere ( I have bad mind i got my comp info but after a while i forgot it ) I got a Monster Comp too a intel prosessor 3.4 but clocked for 3.7 :D and i got alot of space.

But do you think i can patch my BF2 or just wait until next patch? Have some one head anything about a new patch? - Im Out :eek:

When I just want basic info I go to the "run" command and type "dxdiag"

As far as the 1.02 patch goes and your computer ... I have no clue :D Despite some minor issues, I'm fine ... and I run BF2 with 1.8GHz, 256 (yes, 256)MB RAM, and an FX5200 (quite possibly the worst video card that can run BF2).

The patch worked fine for me, make sure you install it on a username with no special characters, thats why my didn't work. (Davíð)

I didn't download 1.01, i just got 1.02 and it works super

I installed 1.02 and it worked fine.I play ona a Barton 3200+ 1,5 gb ram LeadTek 6600gt 580@1080 OC

Yea, I had both 1.01, and the new patch 1.02 and both work great. Definatly load the 1.02 patch.

Patched fine with me as well.

Trust me, you're not missing out on much here, the 1.02s dont fix many of the problems which propel you to want to break the DVD in half.

LAG is the main culprit here, DICE needs to fix the netcode and tweak the graphics for a better experience IMO.

none of my problems are because i installed the patch. i works better with it now (when i can get it to play) than before.
