no. ranked multiplayer servers only. you can activate the unlockables for use in single player by modding the client a little bit, but they wont carry over to online play.

that would be 10X easier than doing it on multiplayer

i think if there was a single player campaign, and after each campaign, you got a weapon, that would be cool

how do you change the client thingamyjig to get the weapons in single player?

it works for unranked servers as well but doing so can get your server unlisted by EA for a period of time.

1. Open python\bf2\stats\unlocks.py
2. Go to line 44
3. Change the line
defaultUnlocks = [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]
to
defaultUnlocks = [1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1]
4. Enjoy all the weapons.

It doesn't work with the patch. You can try it out in the demo though.

It is just a text file, so use something like notepad (included with windows), editpad (my favorite), or any text editor. Remember to save the file so that you preserve the exact filename, "unlocks.py". (Notepad may try to save the file with a .txt filename extention, just overide this in the file save dialog box, or rename the file later)
