Sig Size Troubles

When I was off my computer I received a PM from Lakie at 8:11PM yesterday. The message read as this:

Please shrink your signature. It's way too big. Please do it within the next 24 hours, or we may delete it all.
Thank you for your cooperation,

After reading this I sent a PM that read:

Yes, I am aware of the need to shrink my sig size. But may I ask what is the max size of the signature so I may shrink the images to fit that?

Then I go to see how I can change my sig and low and behold IT WAS DELETED.... Now.. what the hell happend to my 24 hour deal? For most of those links I did not save the Image location... and now I will have to search my computer and go to Xfire to receive those images. All I want is answers....
