BF2 AutoLoader Update

BF2 Auto Loader (http://www.bf2al.com/) has a new URL and a 1.1.0 update to their server browsing tool. The new update includes a master server list, automatic detection of the BF2 file path, an automatic update area, and a plethora of bug fixes. Check their site out, and download your own copy of BF2 Auto Loader from their mirrors.

Get the .Net framework from Microsoft's website.

So very much better than the in game server browser. I found 4000+ servers. The filters work, the pings are actual, there is a favorite list.

Wow, it is really impressive. At less than half a mb how is it that Dice could not add it to the retail version. It's not pretty but it works and works well.

Request Master Server list seems to do squat for me. Just comes up with no servers at all.
Any ideas?

Its fine now. It was just because EA was screwed for a while. Its really good, i like the way the filters actauly work ;)

We only send arguments to bf2.exe, as u probably done with bf1942

I just used autoloader for the first time last night. It took a second to setup all the filters but OMG they freaking worked!!! Yeah It was so nice being able to find a ranked server with a low ping and open slots quickly and get in and play. It cut down on the BS of searching for a server down to like 20 seconds. Now I can bookmark servers I have a good time on and load them up even faster!

Whenever I use the program it manages to find only about 60 servers... :cry:
The in-game browser always gets me about 1000 ranked servers.

So I'll wait for an update or something similar..

Superb program that I won't/can't use for one reason. It doesn't allow you to add ANY server IP that's not in the master list. :(

We'll try to put it in the next version.

User try to put IP:TCP address when we need IP:UDP address ...

bf2 server _normally_ (75% time) respond to 29900 udp.

but a server is on port xyz, we dont have any clue to get a status code from it.

i'll check what i can do th _fix_ that :)

btw, u can seach the server by ip with the ip filter :)

I've been using this program for the last month or so and it used to work great. However, I would say within the last week, one of the automatic updates it released has made the program not find any servers. All of my favorites that used to work now all have 999 ping with question marks under players and current map, so basically it isnt even connected anymore. The master server list comes up with 0 servers. Something went wrong in that last update, is there a way I can download an old version anywhere?

I see tons of servers in the Master Server List, and I can see information on the server (ping, map, players) in the list. But when I select launch, it immediately pops up a message that say "no response from server." Every single one in the list does this.

What am I doing wrong?

We got a problem with this option.

It will be fixed soon

For the moment, plz add the servers u want to join in your favorite list.

You'll be able to join them that way

.Yes, BF2AL is one of the best 3rd party warez to come out in a while. I have not tried the new release, but the old one was great. The only bug I ran into was when I tried to sort my list by the number of people online. Sometimes it would crash out on me. But other than that, it's great. EA should take a lesson or two from people like this.

We are aware of this issue.

This crash about sorting players will be fixed in the next release of BF2AL.
