Hello i'm new here i need some help.
I have found out im only going to have a $715.00 to shop with, untill my nest pay check for the who thing. I'm thinking about going with AMD 64 4000+ that a 939pin. bad thing is I can't get the 4000 under $715.00 with shiping. The only thing is the P4 are so mutch faster and cost per gig is bad *** But it only runs 32bit, I wish i could use the same MOBO go with a 3.2 P 4 800FSB and then when the 64 bit games come out go to AMD. If I go AMD i'm only going to the 939pin ONLY so i can upgeade. this **** can be stressful when your unpashent like me. What can i get now for $715.00, for now then on next pay check upgrade to, should i go P4 2.8 or 3.0 800fsb? or AMD 64 3200 that's only 1GB prosser. BF2 requires a 1.7BG. to me the 3200 seem like total crap but in my price range. and the P4's 800fsb 2.8 are better then the 3200 speed wize but not Bit wize. 64 or 32....
I want no less then 2GB and upgrade to anything faster.

What i want now is a Computer to run "BF2" with a good frame rate at the highest settings. ;) Keep in mind I have a RADEON X800 XL 512MB PCI Express" So the MOBO has to have a PCI X16 socket on it.
I was thinking about going ASUS or MSI RS480m-IL with 1 GB of PC3200 DDR400. Please HELP!

What's the life span of a AMD 64 3200 being overcloked to 2.4? or should i just get a 2.4?
I found a Cooling fan that can get's down to 20.C would that be ok? It's Thermaltake a1744 Venus.
