This is more of a suggestion than feedback, but I wasn't sure where to put it and this category seemed like the best candidate.
This is for the good fine staff at totalbf2.com.
I'm thinking about organising a weekly session where new players can gather for an hour a week to learn the basic need to knows of battlefield 2. Sharing and learning new tricks into becoming a professional player.
I will be making assault course maps when the editor is out, where players will be challenged to basically jump through hoops. Learn how to control their player to reach new heights and move around as needed on the battlefield.
Will totalbf2.com be willing to back me on this? Help me teach some n0obs and make more challenging assault courses as players progress?
Any feedback on this idea at all would be great. Thank you,
CyRuS*

a plane and helo course would be good, so next time i jump into a blackhawk i dont have to worry about the pilot crashing straight into the ground :( . Would you include a screaming sergeant major bot to call you a "gutless maggot" etc :D ?

I guess totalbf2 don't look at their own feedback, shame.
Nevertheless thank you everybody for your feedback and offering your services. I will remain consistant to launch this idea off the ground, regardless of totalbf2s ignorance.
I have a server and a teamspeak/ventrillo server so there isn't much more I need. A webdesigner if possible would be nice, as i'm too busy to comit the time to designing a website when i'll already be channeling my time into the maps.
I'll keep y'all updated.

Ill gladly help out
I cannot speak for the rest of the staff here but I would really like to see this come into being, helping the community is always a plus here, this could also turn into bigger and better things. I like it.

I would personally support you but this training seems kind of useless. You can gain skill by joining a clan or tournament and working together with teammates. We have the Tips and Tricks section already where players can share their new tips. How is jumping through hoops gonna help you in BF2

Well for example on karkand at the south flag you can double jump from the flag onto a higher building next to it. It's very difficult to master but a great way to surprise the camper up there that's watching the ladder:)
There are loads of tricks like this that not many people know about, anybody that attends will have a huge advantage over the majority of players. I've been playing the battlefield genre since codename eagle. My clan was one of the best BFV clans with 140 wins and 32 losses. I know my stuff ;)
If EA ever releases their mod editor we can get things moving. I apprechiate everybody replying to this thread offering their services. However it should be noted I'm from the UK and it appears evident that most people that replied are from the US. I suggest rethinking your decision to help out as the timezones may be difficult for some people.

If this does happen, I would personally love to participate. I don't even have the bloody game yet, but it looks spectacular and I would love to receive any help possible.

Hello,
I recently had an idea of creating a map that is basically a tutorial on how to use the sniper rifle and lead your shots depending on distance to target and target speed. This map would probably be some sort of range with markings at the respective distances and targets at those distances (not sure if the battlefield 2 engine supports entities [moving objects] as are capable in Counter-Strike Source). If these entities are possible, it is hypothetically possible to create moving targets at the set distances that can respawn after being shot. This would be an invaluable tutorial to teach a player how much he or she needs to lead shots! Any suggestions? Is this even a good/plausible idea?
