I have noticed that my motherboard is rather picky about the types of memory it takes. The QVL on the asus site is pretty limited. I wanted to get other a8n-sli user opinions on what memory to get, what you are using and what is the best for a 2gb set up.

thanks,

cj

Sorry I'm not SLI but I run Corsairs VS1GBKIT400C3 (512x2) x2 kits. Rig in sig. I've run stress tests on it OC'd and never had an error. Like I said this is the A8N-E not SLI, but should be the same.

Corsair or Kingston are both good companies. I use them exclusively for performance reasons and support reasons. Corsaid replaced my non-dual channel modules with dual channel tested modules because only 1 of my modules was bad! I was impressed by how much they actually cared about getting my system running again.

Oh yah, the lower the CAS timings the better as well. My Corsair is 3-3-3-6, and my corsair is DDR2 running at 3-3-3-10.
