I'd rather explain a swastika to my children than the perky boobs and huge erections in YOUR "sig." Although then at least I would have the opportunity to tell them that a disease that their grandfather had is not something they should joke about.



ON topic, however, the PotD have indeed.... sucked. It's nobody's fault, but I think a lot of us would rather see things that happen rarely, and not because of a graphics glitch, but by some magical coincidence. Just yesterday in game I launched a rocket at an enemy at the exact same moment he launched one at me, creating a spectacle of twin smoke trails and exploding soldiers.

Here's the problem as I see it, exemplified by my.... example. You're in battle when the really cool stuff happens. You're doing everything you can to stay alive and make other people dead. You're not going to be ready to take a picture when you see five GIs parachuting in front of a sunset, you're going to be concentrating on shooting them... or protecting them... depending on your side.

Point is... the things we want to see most on PotD are unstagable and rare. And these are exactly the same things nobody's taking pictures of. Because we're playing soldiers, not playing tourists.

My grandmother also was severely affected by the same disease before she passed away, so I am sure that you, as I , can see the irony in what I am saying in my sig. If you are comparing my sig to the insignia of a theological point of view that was the biggest stain on Europe, if not the whole world, in the 20th Century that still carries a great deal of meaning to many people, let alone a whole race of people where the Nazi regime attempted to wipe them off the face of the planet.

If my daughter made either an ironic point about medical investment or conducted actions that perpetuated an evil ideology that is best left to history I know which one I would be more annoyed about.

I for one am tired of reading posts that say that the picture and caption are horrible, I believe Game Wizard said it best in an earlier post, that if "You don't like our POTD's then go somewhere else." Now I am not sticking up for Total BF2 or any of their staff, but I am tired of reading post after post of complaining. I think the potd comments should be forum users trying to make a funnier caption or something like that.

Ok first off, lets see some screenshots you do 'Praise'. Second off take a look at your sig. It bashes EA/DICE and the expansion pack. If you dont like EA so much and/or BF2 then simply go to Start/Control Panel/Add Remove Programs/BattleField 2 (TM) and click remove. Do us the favor, and go play a game that 'appeals' to you and dont show yourself here ever again.

Imaginary Turtle is entitled to his opinion. Your praise for this PoTD is just as valid as his disdain for it. Sometimes I like the PoTDs, sometimes I don't. I don't find this one amusing or anything worth writing home about, so are you going to jump on my back as well?

Many of you have no right to criticize him. I'll bet a lot of you are the very same crowd that curses BF2 for teamkilling, stats, and the countless other problems the game has, yet it's still installed on your machines.

In any case, I feel I've made my point. Debate and disagree all you want, but this PoTD is lacking. It's my opinion, simple as that. Life goes on.

if you let 3 guys climb up the ladder really close behind each other and then place a claymore at the top AND at the ground beginning of the ladder. and while you view from one persons view how the others get blown up and you have to jump of the ladder and use the parachute to not die... and then you just go and hide in the corner... wow. nice picture! what does it display? :cry:

I see this all the time. when I want to get an easy knife kill on an enemy sniper thats up in a tower and has a claymore set, I just wait for one of my dumnass comrades to climb up and get his face blown off...Then I pounce, and make my move!! lol:).
