OK, to be honest, I wasn't going to mention this one, as I don't believe too many people know about it yet. Although I would like to claim I discovered it, i know this probably is not true, and my ego doesn't really need feeding that badly anyway. :)
So, at any rate, the map is Dragon Valley. The Flag Point is the one which sits in front of what looks like a two-story farm house with an attached single story part.
There is normally only one road approach. Hopefully some of you can visualize the base I am speaking of.
OK, so if I am playing China, I spawn in this base immediately, and I take Support. If USMC, I make for this base first. If the base is controlled by the enemy, you can lay down against the backside of the two-story section to neutralize/capture the flag.
Now, here is the neat part. In front of the lower sectin of the farmhouse is where an APC spawns. You can jump on top of this vehicle, and use it to get access to the lower roof. Then you can jump up on the upper section.
Once there, you can lay down on the backside of the roof. I usually lay about six shingles down from the peak (you will know what I mean when you do it) and face the bridge in the direction of the USMC home base.
While laying in this spot, you control the flag. That's right folks, when an enemy tank rolls up for the easy capture, guess what, it ain't so easy. Then, when they start firing randomly, or encircle the building trying to find who is controling it, they don't think to go to the backside, and then move away from the building until they can see if anyone is on the two-story roof!
When I know no one is around, I drop ammo bags to get ammo points, and spend my time spotting for my side.
There is a large tree that hangs over this corner of the farm house, which keeps you from sticking out like a sore thumb to enemy helicopters, so if you don't shoot at anything, you could control this flag point for a long time, with no one realizing you were here.
There is some hills that are elevated enough for someone to snipe you, but they are far enough off that if you get sniped, you can respawn before they could come in and neutralize the base.
My brother and I took this position with me playing Support and him playing AT, and we had a nice time. No huge scores, but still quite enjoyable.
Since I discovered this spot, I have been looking for other places on other maps that allow you to drive a vehicle up and climb on top as well.
Hope some of you have a chance to check this one out, and tell me what you think.
