The US Intervention mod website has been updated today with a couple of new screenshots of the BRDM-2. You can check out the screenshots below:
This is the first in-game model by the USI team. Our goal is to provide the best Gulf-war experience that can be imagined without actually being there. As this is one of the first models to be showcased in-game, we welcome all critisism and comments in order to make this a better mod for everyone.

I hope you enjoy - and that you give us the advice of the community that every mod needs.

hmmmmmmm... bolts and extra panel lines on skin (looks half finished? skin needs extra "3 dimensional" qualities) - needs more poly's - little blan... if your going to do a mod based on that time period (like many others) your really going to have to wow us with models and extra battlefield content. not trying to be hard on ya just giving u a third-person's unbiased opinion.

happy modelling

i think that model, if put on desert type terrain......
would be pretty awesume. On the grassy, marsh like.. not sure.
Looks nice though, hats off!

It's really not bad, but it looks like it had a first-class off-white/cream/champagne paint job.

Agreed with Jim Bob. Also think the model has that 'just left the showroom' glow.

Get it weather beaten and a bit dirtier and less reflective.

Apart form that, good job, looking foreard to some more of your stuff in game.

PS Is that a cheeky wee 'troybob' tester you have on board? (Allo TroyBOB ;o) )

render:

the community is what guides USI

It was an early in-game shot that we just wanted to show off. There is work being done to add battle damage and some tweaking to ensure that the lighting doesn't outshine the skin (making it much too bright).

Great to see some vehicles in-game.

Nice work, I'm heading over to your site

I think that this BRDM2 goes along perfectly with the style of the original BF2 models, but then again, I think that they all need more details in their skins. You have the texture space, do a little more with it. Other wise, Good Job guys.
