i hate being on a team with a bunch of noobs that dont def they just run off then the other team well be useing the hawk and caping flags. my way of takeing them down is going right up to the pole and throwing c4 on the top of the pole. its not right at the top but you can test it out for yourself. this works vary well and its nice to see your name fill up the kill chart and even better when you get the 6 kills with defend flag points. :D

I dont really understand why so many ppl complain that much about the bh and feel like god when they take one down and even laugh or swear at the guys in it when they do so (i'm not talking about u). Hunting down a blackhawk is not really that difficult. If u are a good Jet pilot then the guys at the bh are done but, if there are no planes on the map, there are other tactics too. One is to take a tank, its so useful, mainly because with one shoot u can kill all the passengers except the pilot and with about 3 u can destroy that flying cow. Another thing everyone can do is to find a friend and each one take a vodnik (or similar vehicle), they really do much damage to choppers, so it would take longer to hunt it down (it would take more if there is an engy inside). I really would appreciate if ppl used tactics instead of complaining. Sry, but im so tired of that, yesterday a few guys spend a whole round swearing coz me and a guy were at the bh (we were only 2 and didnt even have an engy or medic).

I would say the yellow pages is a good spot for stupid crap. Also, bartenders and taxi drivers are full of all sorts of useless info. Can always try the Library too. Lots of info there that, most of the time, you really don't need to know.
Try a bum/homless person, you would be surprised what some of them may know. That about all that i can think of.

My best black hawk kill (even if everyone's *****ing about this topic instead of trying to type something supportive) was when there was a fully loaded one flying around, gunning down fools dueling in the streets. I was a medic, USMC, sitting on a building with a sniper (squad leader) and an assault troop. I was racking up many points, chucking grenades in alleyways (lots of them spawn points) and healing/reviving my teammates. The blackhawk flew on over, with the idea that the three of us gone will mean an firmer hold on the nearby flag. Several other infantry in alleyways, hiding and such, opened fire. Desperately, anti-tanks and grenade launchers were lobbed into the cabin, helping much. Aggravated, I took out my pistol and fired a single shot at the blackhawk, taking it out.

As for shooting down black hawks... it's not very hard if you are in a tank, but if you are just infantry, you need to really be careful so that none of the mini-gunners spot you... else you'll probably be toast. :hmm:

LOL :p . Ive done that a couple times throw c4 on a heli. I got like 5 kills each time not a bad pick. Plus it looks cool. If only i knew how to use the video recorder....

I found the easiest way to take down a heli is to just spot it, grab a tank and wait for it to try to take a spawn. Once it goes down just pelt it with bullets and nail it with your shells.

I've taken Blackhawks down by:
1. Grenade launcher = 5 bodies falling from the sky or KABOOM
2. RPGs, a whole lot of them too
3. Mounted machine guns
4. Planes (duh)
5. C4'ing it while it's hovering
6. Sniper rifles! (well, just the last hit before it explodes ;))

I took out my pistol and fired a single shot at the blackhawk, taking it out.

yeah i had an experince with like that, were a helio was badly damaged but i didnt know that and jsut for fun I was shooting at it with my pistol a few shots and its exploded, I was like :D a pistol shots can take down a chopper but then I saw who killed it, a guy in an AA tank, but it was still kewl to think you shot down a helio with a pistol

One thing that is somewhat effective (if there are enough people around) is just to unload everthing you have on it, pistols, grenades, rifle rounds, whatever.

I've also got a full blackhawk kill with my silenced pistol :P, though "What the hell," then unloaded and got the kill.

I've randomly fired my M16 at it and gotten the kills for a full load. I'm like "I can't take out one infantry guy with 3 bursts at point blank, but I can shoot one burst at a heli from 150 feet away and kill it. Ahh, the wonders of the BF world..."

hehe yeah, i've had that happen a few times with different guns.

one time i was sniping and as i was about to shoot, a friendly bh came into my scope and as soon as i shot, it hit the bh. good thing is that it didn't blow up. bad news is that the pilot must have sucked or something because he crashed it and i got all the teamkills for it and was punished.

to me. it is the day every1 dies in tht black hawk. usually i make some1 do all the work and when it is about to crash or blow up, i start shooting at it and i get the kills. :D :D :D also, in mashuur, just get the tank and blow it up wit 2 shots. hit the minigun section first. then anywhere.

I take them down with tanks all the time. But, it's *super* easy if you have a "helper" in a jeep or something. BHawk goes down in seconds and doesn't come back once they realize the futility of their plight.
