GameZone Gives Battlefield 2 a 9.2

Although we have seen plenty of reviews already, <a href="http://pc.gamezone.com/gzreviews/r23894.htm" target="_blank">GameZone.com</a> has recently reviewed Battlefield 2 and gave it a 9.2. This is a pretty good read for all of you still not sure about BF2 because of all of the patch problems.

The maps are well balanced so the games do not turn into a battle of the bulge type game. So you do have to use the armor, air support and infantry in coordinated attacks to do well. Driving vehicles and boats are pretty simple, but just about every air unit does take some getting used to. To avoid getting heckled in online play I highly recommend practicing a lot in the single-player games.</blockquote>

That is by far the worst, most uniformed review I have seen. Its like they have played 2 games online and thought wow it deserves a 9.2 out of 10. What about the multitude of bugs included free of charge? They didn't say that patch 1.03 would include 140 fixes at least did they or that to watch out for the red tag friendlies/blue tag enimies. That is the biggest joke of a review I have ever seen and its those types of reviews that people look at and decide that "wow they gave it a 9.2 out of 10 the game must be near perfect" when in reality we know thats far from the truth and it deserves the title of "The most buggiest game in history"

I totaly agree the game is incredibly buggie but as far as the buggiest game in History ... That Definately Belongs To Joint Operations LMAO :laugh:

oh my good, from now i wil hate gamespott! lol it deservs a 10.9!!!!! (of 1-10!) :P but - som lags at the servers, and it takes a long wile to load games/rounds, and at least 5 mins to start the gamw with an online acount! so : 9.8

Why if you think the game is so buggy do you play it and post on a forum for the game< they are fixing it live with the problems they will be fixed you can not program for every bodys system like you can for a game boy.

get over it, best game ever with bugs and all deserves 10/10, patches coming, and i'm expecting them as well, I do want the game to be fixed but don't be hating on one of the best games ever created, get a grip.

I LOVE this game!!! I have played waaaaay more buggy games. All time worst would be Matrix Online. I expect bugs with every game, and do my part by reporting the bugs I find. If you don't do that, STFU!!!! (most complain and do nothing)

People are entitled to they're oppinion !! And if they go out and spend theyre hard earned money on something that frustrates them because they cant get the damn thing to work properly.. Well thats grounds for complaint...Well founded...

The game is brilliant , but regardless it still has some major bugs in it that are incredibly frustrating.

I would give BF2 as high as 9.5....it would be perfect if it wasn't for a few bugs...which Dice is taking care of now. Not only is BF2 the best FPS out right now, but also the best online FPS...{In my opinion} i've played in the last few years. You can make your cases for CS:S,UT2004,Halo2, and so on, but BF2 seems like it has that extra edge that some of those game I mention lack. Don't get me wrong I love all of those games, but each one seems like something is missing to me. I just get burned out with those games way too much.

I would give BF2 as high as 9.5....it would be perfect if it wasn't for a few bugs...which Dice is taking care of now. Not only is BF2 the best FPS out right now, but also the best online FPS...{In my opinion} i've played in the last few years. You can make your cases for CS:S,UT2004,Halo2, and so on, but BF2 seems like it has that extra edge that some of those game I mention lack. Well I would just like to see people reviewing BF2 after they played it for two months and than compare that review to the one they wrote after playing it for a few days. The fact is BF2 gets boring real fast, without a SP campaign and only one gamemode the game starts to get repetitive real soon. Luckily I still have my clanmatches because otherwise I would not be playing alot of BF2 anymore. So if Dice is smart they give us at least two new gamemodes (e.g. CTF and Push/supply lines) to keep things a bit more interesting in the long run.
