View Full Version : C4 can be triggered from anywhere

Was playing on zatar wetlands as a spec ops .

I was on the first flag point you counter when you leave the American base, I see an enemy APC cumming, so I put my C4's around the flag and hide.

The enemy APC get destroyed before it reaches the flag, so I didn't need to use them, got in an APC and started riding, after like 2 min I reach the flag point closest to the MEC base (totaly other side of the map) and I see on my map That the point where I put my C4's around the flag is taken over by MEC.

I get out the vihicle, take my remote control, push the button, and 4KILLS apear.

I think it was funny, killes those guys with C4 from the other side of the map, they probably asked themselves where the hell that spec ops must have been

Wow, don't want to sound like a smartass but that has been around since BF1942 when you were engineer and you could throw the Dinimyte packs and blow 'em up even though you were like at the other end of the map.

Soda maybe some people didnt play BF1942? and BF2 is tottaly new to them?

I did play BF1942 but didn't know that, my excuse for being so stupid everone already knew this, plaese forgive my extreme small brain

You can also put some c4 on the front of your buggy and run it into tanks for some kamakaze kills.

Ya and a nice -2 so you end up not getting any kills score.

when a tank is taking out your teammates, you can't worry about thinks like your score.

It is quite a hassle get to a buggy, put some C4 on the bonnet, get into the car, ram the tank and all this when under heavy fire ....

i always do this..on zatar wetlands i c4 up the second us flag cos u have to go up a flight of steps and leave ur vehicle...i lay loads of c4 and if it gets neutralised BOOM! kill the ppl then retake the flag...

I was lucky because I saw the c4 at a site, and when I neutralized it it went off. Lucky me I was laying prone behind a fence taking the point. I was still able to capture and allow the rest of the team to spawn, there were no spawns left :-)

I've had the chance to c4 an F18 and wait for it to get in mid air before blowing... loved it!
