Are we able to add mirrors in this game, because i would so like to have some rear view mirrors in the vehicles and planes.

My guess would be no, mirrors are usually pulled off with tricky camera views that projected back to the player, stuff like this gets really laggy which is why you don't see these types of effects in multiplayer games.

Would be cool though, you could add security monitors that would allow you to spy different parts of a map remotely, I always wanted to make a map for UT2004 that did that but the one tutorial that showed how to do it only works offline.

Only a mirror "simulation" is possible.
Uses the same technology as in old bf games: Environmentmapping.
Reflects a generated environmentmap, not thr realtime enrivonment.
This is used on glass, water and all the things that are reflecting things.
An generated environmentmap in bf2 looks like this:

So it is possible, it was used on DC stuff and even in the old WWII planes from vanilla bf.
I modded many things in DC to have an envmap effect, like the nimitz windows

FH uses it too http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/5978/1600x12006ml.jpg

Its a nice technic to simulate mirrors and all reflecting surfaces.
