:laugh: That's a big very big problem... This is one of the last bug i've in BlackHawkHunt...

FIXED! This is done simply by going into BF2 Editor go to Level editor load your map. On the right hand side go down to Minimap and click Show. Now close out BF2 Editor.
Go to your map folder and go to Editor folder in there. You will see a minimap.dds. Copy and paste it into Hud/minimap .
You will see the other minimaps which are the default ones. What you need to do is open the minimap.dds in photoshop with the Nvidia dds tools. Shrink the minimap down to 512x512 and replace it with the other ones.
Thats about it. Hope ya guys find it helpful.

That works now how do you make it so the combat zone shows up?

The combat zone its automatically put in there by the game. No map has it painted on. It is put in by the game during the game.

yeah imwith this guy, ive been seing alot of stuff needing photoshop, and i dont have it, so what are we meant to do.?

You can use GIMP to edit DDS files as well. (And it's free!)

Wow, I just opened up the environment maps, I was totally expecting to see something more complex. It looks almost like random screenshots.

still didnt work for me :cry:

opened up minimap.dds in the directory where mylevel is

resized image to 512x512

copied & pasted minmap.dds to hud/minmap

Overwrote the existing file still no minimap. :confused:

using ps cs with .dds support.
