The <a href="http://www.is04.net/" target="_blank">Interstate '04</a> mod website has been updated today with a huge update. Michael S. Siebert talks about what he has been doing the past few months, such as going to the BF Convention. He has also released a ton of new renders. Check them out below:

I like those cars but i hope that those skins for Jetway and enzo aren't final.

Is the mod basically about racing and such? Or what? If so, i'll be sure to download it. Just to have fun if I get mad or something. :)

ya, is04 is like racing, stunting, killing, thing like that, from what i hear, and i played is82. and that is basicly what is82 was.

Is82 was all about racing, stunting, and rollplaying.
If this is anything like that Its on my must download list.
A good break from the usual fragfest.

Im a HUGE Is82 fan. And its probably ( imo ) one of the best mods for BF1942.

I hope this mod for BF2 is as enjoyable as it was for BF1942.
( Ahh, so many hours spent on good ol Is82. )

i am mad stunt and i knew alot of things about deathrace, back when my bf1942 worked :( i was ta pwn!

Looks nice. The models are pretty sweet, just that Jetway skin is weak. The player model also needs a lot of work and the player skin needs to be replaced completly.

If they tried to make the cars more realistic, like use more polys in the vehicles, they can go until 8000 polys for each model without having much problems ingame, like this they could have some really nice looking cars...
They should also improve on the skins.

I like this mod and used to play it, it was fun and it was nice to change the game from time to time.

IŽll give it a go, but if you improve the models and skins the mod will look way better.

The colors on the Enzo & GT are nothing more than just colored polygons, so I had a feeling of what the car would look like. Unwrap & Skins for these vehicles are being worked on.

Certainly no other mod managed to make cars that felt that much like cars. This was the main thing that put me off Dice City the cars just felt nowhere near as good as Is82's. A really good mod really that I don't think got the player numbers it deserved.
