Is it possible to have a Flash Signature?

Im trying to setup a Flash banner signature. It has no sound just a small animation and will be hosted on my server. I've asked 2 Admins for support on this but it seems they only reply to messages to threaten me (when they dont like my topics). Anyone know how or if this (flash banner) is possible?

The animation is too long for a gif. causing a huge file size. But it's small in Flash. So it's not possible? Why not?

Yea you can use flash sigs on Forums as long as HTML is enabled

i made this for a forum and it worked and to embed it in your sig heres the code

<embed src="http://x500.putfile.com/videos/b5-19719024647.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="360" ></embed>

where src is the location of your SWF file and the Width and height is the size of the sig

but you cant use it on this forum. you can use it on another forum that has html enabled

its not so much flash more as it is HTML right? sometimes people can hack boards with HTML enabled

i couldnt use my sigs anymore because they were too big and i was threaten a banning if i didnt take them down :laugh: :laugh:

If you look at our signature rules, here (http://forums.totalbf2.com/coc.php#sig). You will notice that if you add a flash sig, you'd probably be breaking a few of those rules.

This is simply in the best interest of the whole forum, considering the size. It's hard to maitain this many users at one time, and we have to deal with a lot of idiots all the time, now imagine a pile of other people who abuse our signature systems (not that theres enough already) with annoying and huge flash banners using up everyones bandwidth, and possibly even tinckering with the html on the same page.

In conclusion, it ain't gonna happen.

lol i did get a 3 day ban for having the sig bourne made me up lol.i was also told 3 times to take em down ,but im hard headed. i was like wtf. oh well live and learn. lol like my sig? think i'll leave it up for a while.
