Which haven't worked right in the past? Do you plan to come up with specific criticisms and feedback and post on the bf2cc forums? Or would you rather just be a smart ***?

i use it on our 64 man ranked server and its a beautifull piece of software single button clicks for all u want sadly the gamemonsters need to check it before installing it so i am using the older vertion for a few days but thats still an exellant piece of software to control your server. I run it on a 2nd pc in my network saves me minimizing the game to warn some one or change the map

Another fine release from the BF2CC guys

It's funny how little it took the tide to turn in BF2CC's favor. Guess supporting your work and not abandoning the community for another game *cough*Battlefront*cough* will win over people.

There's still a few hold outs who knock the tool without even using it. But as far as I'm concerned, they can use rcon till their eyes bleed if they can't get with it.

Since BF1942 I've been a happy user of BFSM and RM, it takes only a couple of mb's of ram and had all the functions you needed. Too bad there isn't a program like that (by BBO) for BF2. There are some others though that are similar like BF2 RCON.

The main problem I have with BF2CC is the resources it uses, up to 50 mb of ram and besides that the layout isn't convenient, some of the symbols are alittle weird.

About abandoning the community, BF2CC is being supported by Dice/EA so it's not fair to compare them to people who just do this in their own spare time.

Your problem is that you the evaluate the merit of a server manager based solely on how closely it resembles BFSM.

You use the phrase "the functions you needed" as if it's loaded with extreanious junk. What you really mean are the functions you liked personally. Other people liked the features in BFCC that other programs didn't have, and in the latter days of 'Nam and '42, BFSM started borrowing features from BFCC.

If it's being that hard on resources, you must be doing something wrong. Try a current version. No one without a flawed set up has had any problems with resources. And 50mb should be a drop in the bucket considering the optimal requirements for BF2 servers.

Being endorsed by EA means little. Im sure EA's not hading out six figure checks for this. But picking up your ball and running to another playground when you get some competition for top dog of server managers is very sad.

We have used BF2CC and have been mostly happy with it but a few problems. Everytime I would alt-tab out of BF2 if BF2CC was minimized into the system tray it would crash and need to be shut down and re-loaded. 2ndly there was no auto-annoucements which looks like that has been fixed with this latest version. Also I like the autobalance tweaks, looking forward to using/loading the new version onto our ranked server and taking it for a spin, hope its more stable than the last bug filled version.

I've seen it running on a few servers already. And guess what, it works pretty good.

Just waiting on our server providers to get it workign on ours. Something about wanting a few days to test it or something.
