I've just finished my first map. It's a map China versus U.S. The map is designed to be played with 16-20 players.

Could I ask a question though? How'd you get the shadows to poject properly? I tried setting sun direction and compiling lightmaps but doesn't seem to work when I do it =/

Do I have to change some settings in the lightmap(objects) and if so; what? :P

i would also like to no this, ive tried everything but my objects still look crappy.

If you have lightmap problems with your objects (not the terrain), you must compile your map (compile objects) with Light Map Samples from EA BF2 website.
Do this when you finish your map because it takes a lot of time...

What grass did you use and did you have to make it shorter?

VERY NICE !!! :D

iam due to release my map (BETA) by the end of the night (lightmaps taking 4 every :rolleyes: )

and would like some help on , how u did you minimap as some of the buildings dont show up :confused:

What grass did you use and did you have to make it shorter?

I used this settings:

Density 1
Variation 0.5

Well the lightmapsamples did make a difference but now everything is so dark =/

Is it dark ingame too, I've dark objects in my editor but not in my map.
Otherwise, you can try to paste the "sky.con" file from an official map to your map folder and then to compile again your map.
