View Full Version : Battlefield 2 keeps freezing in multiplayer!

When I play battlefield 2 in online multiplayer it will run smoothly, then after a few minutes it freezes. When I run it in single player works fine all settings on high does not freeze, only freezes when I go online!
Anyone got any ideas??
my spec is:
gigaybyte nforce4 skt939 motherboard
amd64 venice 3000+
1gb ddr400 crucial ram
160gb sata hd
ati x800xl 265mb
soundblaster audigy2

When you say it freezes do you mean for like 5 seconds then is OK or does it freeze and reboot/crash?

It freezes and just stops I have to reset my computer.

Hmm....I am getting the same problem except my machine reboots itself :(

A few of us on thses forums have it too and we have tried loads of things. Check your event log (application and hardware) and see what error messages you are getting. I'm curious to see if you might be getting the same error as me.
