Are there certain files that you need to upload for muiltiplayer public servers?? I uploaded it to an unranked server but it craches at 14% and i get an error:

Only thing I can think of is that you didn't package the mod? My brother got this when he tried to connect to my local server but at that time, I hadn't packaged the mod.

You have to package it. When you're happy with your map, go to "mod>package mod" at the top of the level editor. This will put the map into the proper format.

It will be in your standard map folder. There'll be a client.zip a server.zip and an info folder. These are the three you need to keep in the map folder. You can delete the rest.
If you ever need/want to work on the map again, just extract the zip files to the map folder and open it up in editor :)
Came across that error when trying to playback a demo on a map I made. Dunno if packing the map cures that as mentioned here (I haven't tried) but did anyone notice the, what appears to be, typo the error throws up?

I came across exactly the same error, but BF2 gave me this error when running a local (in-game) server as well... are you sure it only crashes because it's on a public server? My map crashed on a dedicated (ie public) server as well as locally. By the way, setting all detail levels to medium absolutely did work for me at some point but I don't remember if this was with the specific GameLogic.cpp 1150 error. One other thing I did was remove the control and spawnpoints and place them again. I also remember noticing that saving some things in the editor that you have not worked with at all can cause headache like this.
Hope this helps, I'll be back to read replies...
Marcus.
