Im using mysterious Dell Drivers that makee wonders or so it seems.
Version: 6.14.10.6378
I don't even know what the hell my drivers could be because the latest Ati one is 5.8
I tried the new drivers and they just make problems for me.

I have a older 9500 Pro and yes I have noticed a big big difference...I was running everything on low at 1024x768, now I went up to 1152x864 with lightning on high (wich I think is the best setting to improve how the game looks all around) I average about 50-70 fps...but with laggy fps in very intense fighting, playable though

If you uninstall your current drivers using the "Add/Remove Programs" in the control panel, reboot the system and run Driver Cleaner, reboot the system and install the latest drivers then there should be no errors at all.

I run the 5.8 drives...so far no improvement.
My computer reboots just about every time I play on a ranked server.

Oh hey thanks!! I thought they were so old no one would be able to help me lol. Im thinking of reformatting today, or tommorow, would I be able to just install the latest or newer drivers after the reboot for the same result?
Also sorry to partly hijack your thread ragor

I also have a 9800 pro and am running the 6.14 drivers. any other catalyst drivers produce artifacts in game, large black areas where buildings should be, guns floating (invisible people) and when i press tab to see the scoreboard its just a blank list.
this was also the case with the new 5.8's anyone know of this and have a fix for it?
thanks

No problems here, running the 5.8's.

I am running the 5.8 Cats on a 9700 Pro and the only difference I could measure was when I cranked up the resolution to 1600x1200. After that, I saw additional improvement (based upon a predetermined delta and other benchmarks) at resolutions up to 1920x1440. By then, the BF2 and other titles are unplayable because of the excess demand on my aging video cards memory bus and available bandwidth.
But in the end, the 5.8's do what they claimed - to increase the performance (by tweaking the memory) on 64MB and 128MB card's at higher resolutions. As with most Cat drivers, I have had no trouble with these.

Um, I have been running the 2.6 omega drivers since the demo on a 9800pro and have experienced no graphic issues. Would I benefit from a newer version? My current drivers were the only ones that would work with the demo.
